[X] Tale of the Iron King

Both sound fantastic, but I think it's better to learn of this first. We can probably learn their founding myths later.

[X] Tale of the Iron King

This is their equivalent of the Fuck The Hui story. Its pretty significant to diplomacy because everything would be compared to it.
And Imperialism comes easily to Imperials

[X] Tale of the Iron King

Leaning this way. It feels like it follows the story beats we've hit better. Reaching here, we traveled through the metaphorical legacy of the Emerald Seas' unending conflicts. Getting a look at one of the Polar Nations' ongoing struggles is a natural, and thematic, match.

Especially because it's a story we're unlikely to hear an unbiased account of elsewhere(not that Grydga doesn't have her own bias, it's just not bound by today's social order). Their founding myth is something that's probably more accessible. Sorta like how it's easier to learn about the founding of the Weilu than the founding of the Hui, these days. Maybe we can pick up some mysteries about the Gates from Crowfather who I still want to meet. He's supposed to operate beyond the Gates.

Another reason I want the Iron King is because the current dynamic of the nation's was created by his fall. Or the fall of his legacy, if his kingdom survived him. If he truly united the lands under him, then the boundaries of the 3(4?) great nations that exist today were set in the aftermath of his era. Getting his tale could give us important hints about the tensions between nations as much as those between sexes.

I'm a sucker for multi-factor lore utility.
