Hmmm... the question for me is if we should do something regarding Xiangmen or do something regarding Xiangmen.

If I had to choose between those two options, it would have to be choosing something regarding Xiangmen though.
 
I would strongly prefer Paying Respects to be done for turn 18, so that our goodbyes don't drag out for months (and years in real life.)

Its definitely important to do but now is the wrong time for it.
 
Alright, here we go. I doubt anyone want to give up our only Personal Action, so we can choose 2 Professional and 1 Personal.

Little Workshop of Wonders seems the natural choice now it has been improved. We have a gift to deliver!
The only alternative is the people who wants to start the succession art. Not me, though.

For Professional I want to do Paying Respects and Hou Zhuang's Gift 2 of 3.
Paying Respects is really important, and the kind of thing that will open chain actions. Better to get started.
Gift has already helped us a lot. And if we want to get the completion rewards, we have to keep advancing it.
The other 2 don't really interest me.

I have already explained my preferences and reasoning for cultivation actions:
Grinning, Phantasmal Mastery and Raising the Bastion.
But I know that Bastion isn't really popular, so I'm willing to change that for Laughing Wind. It fits really well and I'm curious about what projects it will unlock. I would prefer that over Fortress of Tsu or Garden of Mists.

Okay so I really want to finish off PLR while we at it goes well with Xiangmen, Fortress of Tsu coming off are previous arc. And we can do Frozen Soul Serenade/Idols and ancestors to get our successor out of the way. As for professional both Gift Part 2 and Paying Respect makes sense.

Was thinking of doing two Personal Actions and 1 Professional instead since they are interchangeable. Idols and Ancestors, Little Workshop of Wonders, and Hou Zhuang's Gift 2/3.

I'm not too sure about the Arts to come up with a proper plan for the setup, tbh.

Hostess Lessons seems likely to want further follow-up, and feels like it has basically all of our main sect networking and politicking locked behind it so we kind of want to address it sooner rather than later imo.
 
I like that set up, but would switch the laughing wind with Primacy of Beasts. Since both Hostess Lessons and Hou Zhuang's Gift 2 of 3 deal with people I think meditating on the difference between people and beasts could be an interesting lens for either of those two projects. In my opinion the laughing wind doesn't really add anything to the rest of the list. I would prefer to leave the Laughing wind for the conclusion of the Long Arm of the Law., which I suspect won't be wrapped up in a nice single action.

Having both Phantasmal Mastery and Primacy of the Beasts leveling up at the same time would also work wonderfully with the combat focus our little group has and prep us for any combat we see going forward.

Can't this same argument be used for BKSD? In fact BKSD is worse isn't it? We haven't done anything with it since the system change, unlike LFWT which was taken last turn.

Hostess Lessons & Suyin because it feels wierd to delay these plots.
I believe Long Arm of the Law & our Moon-Justice-Argent-Seniors plus Hidden Scribe sounds like a good teamup.
Wind thief is such a great art, needs to get started and flitting about the cathedral of winds while scouting should also work.

Copying this one, because I feel that both TREE and FSS+ are important, and now is the most thematic time to do TREE.
 
Okay so, I have a couple of ideas for what we might want to do for plans. First off, all of these are going to have Hou Zhuang's Gift 2 of 3 as I think continuing that till the end is a good idea and the more political connections we can make before the summit the better. It also advances our Argent Disciple trait which is starting to lag behind if we are wanting to make sure we know what we need to know as CRX's left hand. While it being XP neutral is not a huge hinderance it is a small downside.

So my first plan idea

What's good about this plan is it is just basically following up on everything we've been doing. Continue with Hou Zhuang's Gift, follow up with our Xiangmen purchase of a gift for Suyin, finishes up our Phatasmal Mastery and we contemplate what we saw in Xiangmen with TREE project. Paying Respects was chosen mainly for the bonuses it provides to just about every project across the board. We may swap it out but I think the bonuses tie fairly nicely together. Also since Suyin is staying at the Sect this is pretty much our first steps in preparing to leave and starting to say goodbye to everyone. Really drag out the long goodbye ya know? Now the biggest downside to this is we don't get FSS+ taken care of while we also advance Isolation to the next step. This creates a hard narrative choice for us next turn. Do we do FSS+ or do we do Dreaming Songstress for tribulation? Or do we really put the pressure on and do both of them on the same turn? Honestly that is a big turn off for me on this plan or any others that would end us up there.

So second plan idea

Pros for this plan include us finally doing FSS+ and taking up the Soul of Ice train which honestly works really well together. We have a whole discussion about Ice and Winter with Hanyi while also solidifying what FSS+ is to us. Thematically works very well together in my opinion. This plan also would give us the abiltiy to hit Isolation IV as well and set us up nicely to do the Tribulation of Dreaming Songstress in the next turn. Finishing up Phantasmal Mastery is also available but it's kind of dangling as it's own thing in this plan, we could potentially swap it out for something else that gives Isolation. Hou Zhuang's Gift, Root Inroads, and Long Arm of the Law all the rest of our actions together. It all becomes about learning about politics, who we can and can't trust, and following up on the law as is our duty as a baroness. This plan gives us two major themes to work with throughout the turn, Cold and Politics while also setting us up for the next turn. One of the biggest drawbacks of this plan would be no TREE project however and we also don't follow up with Suyin right after we got her a present, which honestly feels very Ling Qi, get back and immediately get back to work and completely forget to give our friend a gift we got them.

This last one isn't actually a viable plan idea but I'm going to put it here anyways

SSC and PLR to advance our Isolation to 4, BKSD seems appropriate having just visited Xiangmen. Hou Zhuang's actions need to be finished ASAP to give us an information feed, and doing Paying Respects now allows for a more natural writing out of the sect over the next two turns.

I have not put in the Li Suyin action because it is not in keeping with her character. Li Suyin is a formation crafter, NOT an alchemist. Her being involved in the cyan breakthrough potion makes absolutely no sense and is far more appropriately an action for Su Ling (and would also help keep Su Ling relevant to the story). Meizhen personal action allows for Yrsillar to give us an outside province perspective on recent events.

FSS creation will be important, but I agree with earlier posters that doing it on the anniversary of Ziqing's end would be more fitting narratively.
 
I will be honest, if anyone wants my vote all they got to do is put a TREE project in their plan. Everything else is very secondary for me.
 
Alright, so I'm going for this plan. Suyin makes sense as we just got the gift for her, and haven't seen her for ages. Hostess lessons feels like it's locking a lot of our sect networking and social development and stuff behind it, so we probably want to crack that open sooner rather than later. Hou Zhong's gift is good to keep working on, and could tie in well to long hand of the law.

Cultivationwise then the goal is to get Isolation IV from phantasmal mastery and grinning, as well as to wrap up PLR following on from our momentum and dream stuff. Phantasmal mastery could also tie into our upcoming visit to Skeleman, and similarly LFWT and grinning can follow on from that and work well with survey. Grinning also helps us get towards B5 to be rounded out, while LFWT has really been languishing here at basically the beginning of its cultivation, and we really should be opening it up and developing it.

Overall, this plan is focused on timeliness and a set of actions that fit our current situation and arcs well, as well as giving us some strong progress on key elements of cultivation.

so, basically, we have 1 Personal action:

this either goes towards Workshop of Wonders because we have the Suyin gift

or it goes towards Idols for FSS+.

so the question is FSS+ now? it would be nice. afterall, we hyped it for some time now.

on the other hand, Zeqing died Turn 3 and a year has 13 months in forge. so the Turn 16 would allow FSS+ to get created on the anniversary day.
I think this could be a nice story beat too, if we want it that way.
 
The stinky part is I would like to do something Tree too since we've been hanging out there but it's key words don't really gel with any of the current menu of actions.

As a long booster of Thousand Ring Fortress this love of tree is make me make smug snake hisses

I got sold on this one due to the inter connectivity of PLR and LFWT and how both those ties into the Gaol and Skelly uncle (PLR and debrief on the whole Gala thing) and the fief exploration (LFWT works narrativly either way it starts or ends, fief or gaol). Capping PLR finally is very nice.

Only thing I am not sold on is hostess thing...
