Only thing I am not sold on is hostess thing...
Yeah, it's a bit of a gamble, but I feel like we can't avoid it.

Like, ultimately our concerns aren't with the general idea - we *want* to work on our work with the Wang group - it's with concerns over the specific implementation. Yrs has been in discord and will have seen our concerns, and beyond that we can't really do the things we want without taking a crack at this project imo.

I don't think dropping the group and all our work there entirely just because we're concerned about this specific action's details is really going to help. We just have to bite the bullet and go for it I think.
 
Okay so there's two reasons to delay FSS+ for one turn:
It would be very nice to pair it with soul of ice if possible (which will be hard to pull off this turn, competition is steep right now), and matching it to the anniversary of Zeqing's death would complete the cycle in a manner. One full cycle without her seems very significant to the core themes of FSS.

If we were able to do our plan like this the biggest downside is we can't advance Isolation to IV this turn and thus won't be able to do Dreaming Songstress for tribulation next turn. But it does cap off Phantasmal Mastery, gives us TREE and also gives us FSS+. Again though this isn't a viable plan.
Can I ask for a quick clarification on why this isn't viable? Aside from the two Personal Actions and one Professional Action, because QM did say that we can swap our Actions.

Nvm, I double checked and realised that while QM said we can swap Personal for Professional, the other way round isn't possible.

On to my vote. I'm going for this plan.

I got swayed on leaving FSS+ for turn 16 because of the anniversary, and since there's an empty action, might as well get started on Hostess Lessons. TREE seems thematic as well, though I'm not too clear on whether the other two Arts are appropriate.

In my opinion, if we don't do Xiangmen aka TREE now we lose a lot of possible narrative force. It makes a lot of sense and it fits perfectly that Ling Qi after visiting Xiangmen works in an art related to Xiangmen...

Because we can't swap Professional Actions for Personal Ones. We can swap Personal for Professional because we're a workaholic but not the other way around.

I think now is a good time to be exploring the Fortress of Tsu given it works on the Home idea and we just maxed out the Community idea for now. It would be interesting to move from a general sense of community to further define what a home is for Ling Qi. A narrower focus that, for Ling Qi, seems to be important. Especially with the connections to family and outsiders we have going on.

After checking some of my math I've realized I made a mistake in my plans. Truly this is the best option for this turn. Next turn we shall do FSS+ and the turn after I suspect we shall do the Dreaming Songstress for tribulation.

Beast King's Savage Dirge
It is said in legend that as the power of the Horned Lord and the Diviner waxed, the eight Beast Kings who remained came together in council of war and united to bring down the conqueror once and for all. Their footfalls shook the earth and their savagery shook the skies, and though they were defeated in the end, echoes of that terrible march remained etched in the folklore of the Emerald Seas forever more. This art is part of a ballad said to have been composed for the last Weilu dukes, and though its origin is suspect, its power is not.

A heavy suspense and pressure building melody, this piece calls to mind the muster of beasts from across the province of emerald seas, called together for the final march. The shades of long dead beasts coalesce from the shadows, red of eye and fang. The beasts howl and roar, filling the air with a savage cacophony. Despite their phantasmal nature, the beasts feel solid and real. They attack all who seek to harm their summoner with great savagery. The phantom beasts will also defend their master and her allies, negating techniques against them, although each time this is done this technique's potency is reduced by 1 as the phantoms are destroyed.

The fastest of the beast kings, the Eagle God, lord of those who flew and preyed on the world below was an impetuous beast, and dove into battle before all the others. If this technique is activated without Primal War Calling, that technique activates freely the next time you use a technique. On activation, the user plays an ear splitting high note and the Eagle God flies again, if only for a moment. The initial cry is an area attack against nearby enemies. And is followed by a single target attack as the construct dives into a foe and carries them away in its talons, dashing them against the ground at the end of its flight.

The cunning Wolf God, lord of those beasts which hunt in number, he of the numberless wild hunt, was the second of the beast gods to engage the Diviner, and a less wise commander would have broken before the maneuvers of his pack. May only be used while Primal War Calling is active. On use summons a construct in the shape of a large grey wolf. The wolf attacks at your direction, savaging and tearing down foes.

While the construct is active the potency of Primal War Calling increases by 2
