So, local priest of Ranald for a round of cards and the spiders are my highlights.

Now I want a Vermintide quest, dammit

A Vermintide quest involves doing an End Times quest, and so far, I don't think I've seen a single quest set in the End Times in Sufficient Velocity. It also would involve working with five incredibly well established characters with a very extensive lore and character building log, which is intimidating. On one hand, the characters are right there ready for you to use. You know more about them than any other Warhammer Fantasy character on record. On the other, it can be an intimidating prospect working with that.

My own idea of a Vermintide style quest would be set around either the Great War against Chaos, (Taking a note from Chaosbane.) or sometime during the Age of Three Emperors if you really wanna get crazy.

You need a line break here, friendo, but also thanks for drawing my attention to the Priest of Ranald thing, I'm adding it to my vote

I'd like to emphasize that we should try to go for things that can only be done here instead of what we can use regular social actions on. For example, we might want to prioritize facilitating introductions between two groups we know that would normally not be in the same room together. Just this once, traveling distances are measured in hundreds of meters rather than hundreds of miles, and it's best to take advantage of that rather than just stuff Mathilde can use a gyrocopter for.

In particular, this is very likely the one and only opportunity for the foreseeable future we can talk to House Fooger, and I really really want to see that.

Who/what was House Fooger again?

I seem to be asking a lot of questions about who and where is what as of late 😅

House Fooger is a Dwarf family that's on Marienburg's Directorate that also has ties to the Karaz Ankor, which puts them in an interesting position in regards to Marienburg's opposition to the Black Water canal project (which threatens Marienburg's waterway trade monopoly). With Empire-Marienburg tensions being what they are, this is an unique chance to see what they think of it all.

One of the Ten Major Houses of Marienburg's Directory that makes up its council and the only non-human house. They're Dwarves descended from the New Holds and who hold a monopoly on Dwarven goods from the Karaz Ankor in Marienburg, which provides their main source of wealth. Arkat Fooger, the head of the house, is an old Dwarf who was there during the independence and helped protect the Sigmarite church and its inhabitants from being lynched, and is the official in charge of fighting for non-humans in the city since he's the only non-human on the council. Arkat is a shrewd businessman and one of the better people in the Council, if you ignore his drug habit, which should thankfully not be a factor this early in the timeline. He develops the concept of insurance in the future.

His house has a banking service in Marienburg. I'm not sure if he's come personally but he's certainly at least sent a representative.

EDIT: Note, this is all from 1st Edition Sold Down the River, which is actually one of the most solid 1st Edition WFRP sources alongside Stone and Steel and the only major source on Marienburg's structure. Boney could still veto any part of this.

Lots of interesting topics, but not really sold on digging deeper into the Conclave. It's unlikely to turn up anything useful except confirming what we suspect
