May I point out that noone has actually attached a plan to any of these votes?
They are just empty titles.

[X] Southern Wall Siege: While an...unexpected development, this does not change the overall plan. A siege means no one is permitted to enter or exit the besieged city, and you intend to enforce that rule. Instruct the Southern Division to engage both the tattered remnants of Pegicles' relief force and the pursuing dragons, with the Eastern and Western divisions contributing some of their own forces to the fight if necessary. Once the threat has been dealt with, the siege will continue as it had before.

This guys did kill our people and I feel letting them have free reign in the city is going to lead to a massacre hopefully after city people see us crush their reinforcements and dragons they'll surrender these are living creatures and should have the sense to see their out matched

That doesn't mean all dragons are sentient here we've met what a total of two sentient dragons(no were near enough for a species to survive) that doesn't mean we should assume these ones are intelligent as well.
they got armour, we have met intelligent dragons before and from picture it pretty good armour, and to capture 12 adult dragons and armour them suggest a extremely powerful power, also on the map someone said that their is here by dragons which may be literal too, and like if 2 member of a species intelligent then it a pretty near certain the rest of them are intelligent too(other than that feral stuff but that a disease)
Maybe it doesn't mean we should assume that when facing an unknown situation.
except all the evidence we have point toward them being intelligent and their not being a sub species or something that not intelligent, I also doubt that feral dragons would be able to work together like that

I never said there not I just wanted to bring up the possibility that they weren't intelligent and to invoke some discussion on it as well. I can admit that it is slim chance to these dragons being feral but as I said there was a chance that they weren't and I did want to bring it up.

While some advocate for leaving the dragons alone, we should take into consideration their might makes right attitude and that if we give them an inch they are likely to take a mile. Let us hold them accountable for the lives they took from us and insure that they don't feel comfortable making a pattern out of such actions.

Honestly, that probably makes things more complicated. Typically letting them through seems to be the one that gives a good impression. But with their culture and mindset, opening the siege to let them through could be considered a sign of weakness, so the choice to rebuff them might actually be the most positively received, due to showing we would not be pushed around, assuming we hold though... 🤔 🤷‍♂️

No it really is legitimately impossible, no people are going to 100 percent follow the law. Especially not at our size. You can monitor it, mitigate it, use it, but you can't eliminate it completely.
Even if you did, a new organization will always form in the vacuum of the first.

Hit the nail on the head.
And their not that all bad from what I gather, they can definitely be much worse but this is pretty tame for organized crime. I believe the saying "better the devil you know" is in effect here.

Firstly we have no way of knowing if whatever society they come from does operate on a might makes right philosophy

Secondly it would probably be a bad idea for us to potentially start another war over them killing a couple of our soldiers in the crossfire

And thirdly if they do turn out to be assholes we can still fight them afterwards when they'll be weakened and there will potentially be less of them

Again this is assuming they possess a might makes right mentality and even if they do they'd have to be idiots to not acknowledge that letting them attack Pegicles for us is a smart, and arguably admirable, decision

I am not saying it's certain, but people aren't exactly rational all of the time either. 🤷‍♂️
After all, you are assuming that they will look at us favorably, and not in a "the inferiors know their place" way which could very well become problematic for us later.

[X] Plan: Clip Their Wings v2

[X] Plan: The Great Big Mare-a-thon Fireball
-[x] Let the dragons go to the city unimpeded and wait for them to be in the city limits, properly battling the defenders.
-[x] While both sides are distracted, have your forces start prepping several barrels of explosive powder to be rigged to explode. Several of which are to be filled with various metal objects to create shrapnel.
-[x] When all dragons are battling House Storm, have your forces' mages scry the battlefield and see where the dragon forces are and where the most dense House Storm forces are.
-[x] Once this information is acquired, begin lighting the explosive barrels and have your mages teleport them to the location of the enemy.
--[x] If the dragons seem to be more resistant to the explosives, then focus on them more in the subsequent bombings to ensure they are more weakened.
-[x] Once the explosives are detonated, repeat the process a few more times, then wait for the fighting in the city to die down before your forces are sent into attack in force.

I'm not really assuming that though, they could look down on us or be condescending but as long as we don't get into a fight with them we can change that in the future

And it's entirely possible we'll still end up fighting them but if we let them fight Pegicles first they'll be weakened and easier for us to fight

So something just crossed my mind. Now that we more or less know the Dragonlands are south of the border of our future protectorate, we're going to have to build another wall, and make it dragon-proof.

I would also say we don't know what Pegicles did to these Dragons, since their are so few they're probably Border Guards or Patrolman, hell with what Pegicles has shown us he's not afraid to commit war crimes so these Dragons might legitimately have reason to be pissed off. I'd like to remark that the only attacked those in their way and have not shown themselves to be actively hostile towards us. Maybe Pegicles knew of the Dragons vaguely and assumed they where wild beasts like the Ursa was and is paying for it.

Could we use illusions magic to lure the dragons to our canon range?
