Companion of the Songseeker (B-Rank)
Upkeep 10(?)
This technique marks a Companion that the user has a positive bond with by touching them, applying the other techs to them. Someone immediately ceases to be a Companion if they are more than <bond rating> km from the user
Succor of the Songseeker
The songseeker's companions were a strange lot and while they would eventually leave her, she would not let death take them easily. All Companions within <bond rating> km of the user receive a buff to their defenses commensurate with their bond rating towards the user.
A Companion may consume their mark in order to negate any attack that would incapacitate them (Shen bypasses). They cannot benefit from this more than one time in a scene
Path of the Songseeker
The songseeker's companions were a strange lot and while they would eventually leave her, she would never abandon them because they could not follow her path. All Companions within Near distance share the users' ability to move, sneak around, and survive within an environment. For instance a sneaking user's Companions would not be discovered if the user has not been and the user's Companions would all be able to fly or swim if the user can.
A Companion may consume their mark in order to teleport to the user's side, assuming the user is with Distance (<bond rating> km, basically this is an escape talisman)
Gifts of the Songseeker
The songseeker's companions were a strange lot and while they would eventually leave her, she would not let them go without giving them gifts to remember her by. All Companions within <bond rating> km of the user receive a buff to their health and qi regeneration commensurate to their bond rating.
A Companion may consume their mark in order to buff a technique as they activate it in a way that makes it reminiscent of the user's cultivation.
Rewards of the Songseeker
While everyone eventually leaves, some return bearing beautiful things. Companions may pay the upkeep cost themselves and this allows them to keep it in effect past the distance limit, though it cannot be activated while that's the case. They may also spend an action and C-Rank qi in order to immediately reapply the mark should it be consumed, though if it lapses then the user will have to reapply it.
Additionally the user gains the passive benefits as if marked by each of their Companions and said Companions can consume their marks (or spend the qi) to benefit the user instead of themselves. In the case of the teleport this is initiated by the user (ie "LQ wants to teleport to your location, is that okay?")
