Imperium and Imperator is good, I think the fact that we're more "Imperator of the Realm of Balance" than "Emperor of Mankind" helps.
Not yet, not for a long time.
The Golden Empire of Yi-Ti, self-proclaimed successor of the Empire of Dawn still stands between us and any claim to being "the" Emperor/Imperator of the Plane of Balance.

Give us a Century or two and I'm sure that the East will be annexed.
I remember the thread saying that unless the place collapsed into slavery/demons, we would likely never get a casus belli and would have to hope that a concerted PR-economic offensive could get new territories to join up.
IMO this seems unlikely to work, but we'll see how that goes! "Viserys, Emperor of the world" is an unlikely future unless he goes out and conquers it all.
This is likely to never fall wthin the "on-screen" timespan of the Quest, anyway.

[X] Smile at your niece indulgently while patting her head. "Yes, obviously I can do that. But I won't force him to. How about you show him how little you think of other people's opinions by trying to do something together with him that he feels comfortable with?" You consider your next words carefully. "If that works out, you can probably eventually convince him to do practically anything you want, including dancing with you. Take it from a brother speaking with experience."
-[X] Politely offer Elia a dance while waiting for the others. "How do you feel?" You expect knowing her murderers, her son's murderers, are dead or soon to be dead, is a balm delivered not a moment too soon, but this is more important than revenge. "Are you happy here? I needn't ask if Rhaenys is, but you're not just putting on a satisfied front for her sake? I don't want you to force yourself to do... anything. Not after what you've been through."
-[X] Smile wryly. "Essentially: Is there anything I can do to help?"
Could you add in this line from @Azel's plan? Jon needs some reeducation on the subject and there are few people in a better position, or with a better example, than Tyene Sandviper.

-[] That being said, you will ask Tyene to have a chat with him about what bastardy does and does not mean at the Imperial court, and offering him dance lessons with some magical help if he changes his mind.

Well, with the next Long Night it seems likely that Yi-Ti will come under heavy pressure from the East and North, if they can't hold the Five Forts by themselves we'd have a good reason to intervene.

And getting us out afterwards would be an unphill battle for them.

A funny thought occurred to me last night as I was drifting off to sleep; I wonder how many Little Valyrians, Minotaurs, and Ratfolk citizens of Sorcerer's Deep decided on Prestidigitation as their cantrip? I bet it makes fur grooming a much easier and less time consuming task.

And then I wondered if any of them happened to learn Depilatory. That would make grooming somewhat easier.

Point, we only had the Stepstones that first year...

I just realized we really nomm'd the majority of Valyria's Essos in just a year. How to top it off this year? The world?

Also for anyone wondering the reason Rhaenys does not like many magisters' children is because having learned Low Valyrian in SD she does not speak it in the most elevated way so they kind of turn up their noses at her. Nothing blatant of course being that she is a princess, but she's a perceptive little girl and can see through their attempts to 'teach her to speak right'.

"OY mate, a em da future, ma way of speakin' is gonna profilate through da Empia while yous is gonna go outta fashion in like three generations!"

Yes, the total mess of accents is intentional. As is profilate in between.

Aww, that calls for retribution.

Where's Glyra when you need her?

honestly i would love to have Rheanys thought in magic by Glyra of all people if only becouse it's to funny not to

yeah i don't know if Elia could stop them if both Rheanys and Glyra were on board with doing it. mostly becouise well Glyra is quite sneaky. i am not suggesting we make Glyra teach her. it just feels like something that would happen

Alternatively, we can suggest Rhaenys to be taught by a former maester, who himself speaks a wide array of different languages, some of them very exotic and rare.
