@DragonParadox, Magical Manifesting can usually only boost the DC of a power, but would you allow it to also boost a Dispel check?
Sure that sounds reasonably balanced.

Yes. And he is an Egoist. He still had to pick a Discipline, if he is a Psion.
So Kineticist, Nomad, Telepath, etc...
And only that one Discipline, Psychokinesis, includes Dispelling Buffer.
Ah, okay. But you can use Expanded Knowledge to get other Disciplines powers.
Good.
Psychic Reformation. Sadly, that doesn't work within battle.Ah, okay.
Usually that would be rather limiting, but Qyburn seems to have a habit of changing his feats as he needs them.
Pretty sure he can touch the untouchable and break the unbreakable.
I blame you, Crake.
Don't put that evil on me.I blame you, Crake.
(shit background quality is totally for shitpost purposes, I swear!)
Spell Resistance doesn't work against Dispel effects, so ASR wouldn't be required at first.Good.
@Goldfish
-[] Qyburn:
--[] Swift Action: 4th lvl Spell Slot to cast Assay Spell Resistance on the Illithid next to him
--[] Standard Action: 10 Power Points and a 5th lvl Spell Slot to cast a Targeted Dispel Psionics on the Illithid next to him (18 + 1d20)
--[] If he manages to dispel the Etherealness:
---[] active the Belt of Battle with 2 Charges to gain another Standard action
---[] 3rd lvl Spell Slot, 13 Power Points and his Psionic Focus to cast Twinned Disintegrate (30d6 damage, Fort DC 31 for 5d6 damage) with both rays hitting the Illithid
---[] spend his regular Move Action to regain Psionic Focus
Sorta? We did some stuff and they countered a lot of it, but in countering it their actions were limited a great deal.
So, we successfully burned out their actions for the turn?Sorta? We did some stuff and they countered a lot of it, but in countering it their actions were limited a great deal.
Not workable then. With everything having 5 to 10 levels / HD on Qyburn, he can pretty much hit nothing through SR.Spell Resistance doesn't work against Dispel effects, so ASR wouldn't be required at first.
Using ASR would prevent Qyburn from activating his Belt of Battle, since that requires a Swift Action.
You are ever to blame for not stopping the cancer in time.
This thing looks fantastic.
@DragonParadox, if Richard and the Twins haven't acted yet, so you want to have the next but if combat just focused on them to finish the combat round, if they do anything, or would you prefer the whole group to act as they can as the new round begins?
Can you Maximise a Dragonbreath with the Maximise Spell feat?--[] The Myrkdreki Twins act to protect Qyburn. Depending on battlefield positioning, one or both of them target the Illithid with Maximized Dispelling Thanatopic Shadow Breath using a Maximize Spell Metamagic gem (144 Negative Energy damage, 12 points of STR damage, Blinded and Deafened for 4 rounds, DC 24 Reflex save for half damage, DC 24 Will save to negate Blindness and Deafness and reduce STR damage to 4 points). If one or both cannot use its breath for fear of affecting Qyburn or the rest of the group, it instead uses Blood Wind to attack the Chronomancer. They use Wings of Cover to shield the group as needed.
Normally you can't, unless you use a metabreath spell if I'm not wrong. Can you Maximise a Dragonbreath with the Maximise Spell feat?
There is a seperate Maximise Breath for that effect, though that takes a full round to use.
You can if that breath weapon has become part of a spell, such as Dispelling Breath. Can you Maximise a Dragonbreath with the Maximise Spell feat?

@Goldfish, shouldn't Maximize also affect the Dispel check of Dispelling Breath?
