If I can get both the Qyburn & Marwin Show and Ymeri wrapped by the weekend, I might just call dibs on Clegane Bowl.

Next chapter for Qyburn & Marwin is about 40% done.
The Qyburn and Marwyn show...

What would we call that Mirror program?

Maestercraft?

Maester PI? (they would take turns wearing a mustache)

Hmm, nothing good comes to mind.

Sorry if it came up already, but what do the Praetorians look like? Should I be thinking Space Marine proportions, or more like Jojo's Bizarre Adventure main characters?

They are larger than normal, though not normally inhumanly so, and their body proportions should remain mostly normal. If someone was already skirting the boundary between Medium and Large size, they can make the transition like Sandor did. He's now a Laege-sized combat monster who can look down on his big brother with a couple feet to spare.

All of the visuals described on the project's proposal
A Praetori is on average a foot taller then a normal human
The skin of Praetori is leathery and somewhat stiff when touched. Often, it also shows a slight tint of grey, especially around joints and the counters of the head.
By adding special veins to eyes, ears and noses of the Praetori, their senses have been greatly enhanced. This augmentation isn't readily apparent when seeing them, showing only as slightly bumpy skin around the eyes, nose and ears, but anyone looking into the eyes of a Praetori will immediately notice it, as the net of veins can be seen starkly on their eyeballs.
The hands of the Praetori have been adjusted to allow him to shape a minor bit of magic in the form of manifesting heat and flames.

HUGE PRAETORIAN DADDIES

@TalonofAnathrax when it comes to Praetori reproduction, they can't are not a new species no, a lot of what allows them to survive is surgically implanted and a newborn's body would not be able to produce. The mother can hardly eat arcane metals to give the embryo a sub-dermal mesh. Thus to prevent a situation where only some of the changes pass on and you get and unstable or potentially non-viable being, none of their changes can be inherited by design. This also has the happy side effect of preventing transhuman soldiers from potentially being born outside of imperial control.

Why don't we just combine actions @egoo, @Goldfish?

[X] Hold a day in court, outside as a dragon.
-[X] Coordinate Ghiscari operations, as per egoo's plan. We can view it "live" anyway.
-[X] Vaugely entertain supplicants with liberal amounts of dragon fear if annoying.

I think not in the current throne room, but the one in the Imperial palace is intentionally designed to accommodate both forms.

On that note, Imperial Steel throne? We have the spare capacity to make that happen and it would look fantastic.

On that note, @DragonParadox, we kitted the Praetori with Imperial Steel, not Valyrian Steel. Only the best for our elite killer squads.
Fuck yes. This I want. I want a lot.

No offense, but I'd really rather not to.

A report is one big chapter.
Seeing things "live" is us potentially interfering IC, spending several.
And I dunno for everyone else, but I have little interest in SB right now.
I am focused on just blowing through as many actions as we can at the moment.

  • [X] Operation Salted Earth - Part 2: The situation in the Ghiscari lands continues to be tense, but for now it seems viable to scale back operations and merely observe Baator's movements. Recent attacks should have disrupted the enemy's plans enough to move your assets to more pressing fronts while keeping a decently sized contingent to look for further developments.
-[X] New Ghis: Keep investigating the Green Grace, Nandazda Aoq; the Praetor of the People Gramdal mo Ia; and see about other important figures in the cities political landscape. See who could be swayed to assist in the Imperial takeover of the city, who can be bribed, and who can be blackmailed.

Relath the Roiling Tempest:
It is the firm belief of every dragon, whatever the color of their scales, that they are the most sublime of all that lives and unto them is owed all that is good in the world. Where other dragons might simply use their great strength and powerful magics to take from the world what they wish, Brine Dragons, those born of the salt-laden shore where the Great Ocean laps against the Eternal Delve, instead desire dominion over the lesser creatures of the sea that they may bring order to the swirling depths.

This desire was Relath's undoing, leading to his capture by the Deep Ones and use as a beast of war. Yet fortune is a fickle thing and will often turn upon its tail in an instant. So it was for Relath who upon being freed of his bindings found himself looking upon an entirely different world, one in which his great strength could easily carve out his own place in the sun.

The magisters of Tolos may call him tyrant for the manner of his conquest, but few can rightly claim the city has suffered under his rule. The laws he has wrought might be strange, but they are not capricious. More than once his great strength and knowledge of sorcery have saved the city from sinister forces, a fact which Relath has made certain to spread far and wide among his people.

Assuming we continue with his third level in Dragon Mystic, he goes from CL 8 to CL 9, and he picks out one 2nd Level Spell, one 3rd Level Spell, and one 4th Level Spell. No feat, that's in two more levels.

I'm thinking Mirror Image for Level 2, but I've got no idea what would be best for levels 3 and 4. Maybe Dispelling Breath for level 4?

Realth Gains ability to Train or Retrain in a Psionic Class (Losing the feat above if he does so)

Given that Relath became psionic wouldn't it make sense to retrain him into a psionic class or is Dragon Mystic just that strong?

He didn't become Psionic. What happened was he now has the ability to retrain any levels he gains into a psionic class. For now at least that doesn't make much sense for him, he should just focus on getting stronger as a sorcerer. But as time marches on his sorcerous power will grow with age, so he could retrain the PC levels into psionic levels and be a sorcerer and a psion.

It's basically a benefit we won't see for another few hundred years, even if it is cool as a fluff effect. Unless of course he gets enough sorcerer levels that he just feels like exploring the psionic side of things.

Mirror Image or Invisibility for 2nd level, I think, maybe Dispel Magic for 3rd since he's getting his caster level high enough to be useful, and Ruin Delver's Fortune or Dimension Door for 4th. He needs versatility more than he needs offense.

EDIT: Primal Hunter would also be a good 2nd level pick, as there is some nice synergy between it and his Primal Instinct spell.

To say the good people of the Verdant Vistas trading post were frightened on seeing the giant serpentine beast, its six heads twice as high as the palisade around their fort, would have been something of an overstatement.
@DragonParadox, you said "overstatement" instead of "understatement". This unfortunate typo completely changes the meaning of the sentence, even though context clarifies what you actually meant.
