Wizards actually can use multiple Winds, and can even do so safely (or as safely as magic gets) as long as they don't have Arcane Marks and they're careful to 'detox' from one before using another. It's just rarely done because you're almost starting from scratch with each new Wind, and if you ever get an Arcane Mark that's it, you're locked in to whatever Wind gave it to you. It's not something that can really be researched, it's already a well-understood phenomenon.
This has given me a theory on how Damsels do their multi-casting. We know that divine magic can give separate "arcane marks" than wind based magic. What if their connection to the Lady is letting them cheat so whenever they get an arcane mark for whatever wind they are using, it instead comes out as an arcane mark of the Lady?

It's also possible that they are just old enough to do it the elf way.

Presumeably the people voting to break up with Panoramia don't think they go too well together. And only a quarter of voters seem to go that way, which seems to track with the number of people who said that they preferred other options.
Indeed. I do not think they go well together and I do not believe their romantic relationship is good for the story. As PoptartProdigy says, I want this to end. If I had thought this was a likely outcome during the romance vote, I would have voted against it.

I've had a gutful of grumbling on the topic of romance and then some. I'm already cutting short what I wanted to do with it and I really don't want to hear anything from people who want even less.

I understand your frustration, but giving us the option of breaking off romance and then refusing to allow the conversation about it seems like hamstringing. Or would you disallow people talking about how they'd like the romance to continue, as well?

This is incredibly disingenuous. I disallowed the bashing of characters when it was completely unrelated to the events currently being voted for because it was poisoning the discourse and it kept bloody happening.

Ah, then I misunderstood, and conversation about the less than ideal nature of Panoramia and Mathilde's relationship, and the relative benefits of other relationships or spinsterhood, is fine? Apologies, then.
