There is Crown of Sorcery, I guess. I think it's fancier than Belegar's own crown.
Don't sure. Belegar's is control device for, basically, eight Karaks. Maybe not fancier than CoS (but we couldn't know for sure until disassemble it and do SCIENCE!!, and Belegar, most likely, wouldn't agree to that), but at least on comparable level.

If there were no men, there were almost certainly no gods, unless they were gods of the Fimir.
True, but I'm supposing that the Flood had an effect on more than just the physical world, especially with one of the Ancestor Gods' works being involved, and that the spirit that would become Manhavok was born in the wake (heh) of that.

We need to get some dwarfs in on this. Hear me out - they likely have records going back way further than Kasimir has access to, while etymological theology is something at least some of them will have experience in.

Boney's already shot it down, but if there was any group of Dwarfs who might have some insight I'd expect it to be the Guardians. The Old Gods seem to have had death and afterlife in their portfolio a lot, and with quite a few Dwarf holds nearby I'd expect more than a couple of Gazul's adepts to have passed by, if only to put Dwarf dead to rest in the aftermath of battles against the undead.

No votes from me for now, on account of me being fine with any of the options winning.

Rich detail in this update, and quite astounding character growth from Kasmir.
Maybe Mathilde could follow his example, think a little on her emotive reaction to Sigmar and also find a little nuance, eh? :)

Other people have already voiced my reasons, except better.

And I must say, this Kasmir is someone I would be interested in spending more social actions on...

To make a god, it would probably have to had an impact on a population of sapients who formed a legend about the events and attributed it to the god. That means witnesses who didn't know what had actually happened who wouldn't attribute it to an existing god.

Indeed, Mathilde too should ask for help from older Gods after the new ones failed her.

... When I originally wrote this post I was thinking Nehekaran for obvious reasons, but now I kinda want to try some Old One worship. Too bad our local supply of Skaven is endangered, they always make for a good first gift.

Though I daresay it wasn't ales you wished to discuss, as rich a topic as that is."

Now if only we'd gotten that ale cellar, we could spend a social turn entirely on discussing ales...
"If all I had at my disposal were Dwarves, I'd do the same," Belegar says frankly. "But for all the bravery and artifice of the Dwarves, it was men that held the line at the Battle of Karag Nar and the Battle of the Citadel, it is men that hold Death Pass and keep us connected to the Karaz Ankor, and it was a joint project between the Runesmiths and the Colleges that shattered Waaagh Birdmuncha. If the Karaz Ankor has a future, it is alongside the men of the Empire, as High King Kurgan Ironbeard decreed so long ago. So I sent you."

Gotta say, "So I sent you" is pretty heartwarming.
Though I feel like we missed some of the intervening steps from 'murderhobo priests clobbering Blood Dragons' into 'an amiable cosmopolitan priest delving into the glimmering cross-section of theology and toponymy'. For one, where did that portly and — in Mathilde's Witchsight — literally dim-witted Priest that advised Roswita went off to.

He's just following Sigmar's example: Pacify gribbles with hammer, then turn local civilization into a gribble-smashing hammer.

Basically her one chance to endear herself to me. I'm double uninterested in this if she's gonna be tutting at us for CRIMES and having to be shady and go behind the back of an s/o to do said CRIMES feels gross, so! :V

I hope not, the next step is 'wander off and probably get eaten by an Ogre'. :V
There are solutions to that problem... Though I suspect the lack of a physical corpse might prove a challenge.

Not that I have any concrete evidence, given that we never practice. -.-

One of our first actually personal conversations with Panoramia was reprimanding her for disobeying her superior officer, so if historically we've actually had the reverse relationship.

So if we can re-establish their Old Gods, perhaps they can succeed where ours have failed."
Holy shit Kasmir, you go.

Entreating with minor gods sounds intriguing.
Children like to splash around in the aqueducts, but the only actual bodies of water nearby are the Silver Tarn which is a little too close to the slowline to be comfortable, and the cisterns that were until recently filled with river trolls.
... Heated pool with a view as one of the penthouse room options?

Boney is right. We definitely would always pick him, because I felt the need to do so as soon as he said this.
On that note. @BoneyM social option idea/request:

[ ] During a small group meeting your fellow councillors and Belegar discuss the party they are looking forward to. FIVE SEVEN THOUSAND WORDS of sociopolitical worldbuilding and characterisation through the lens of ales; as in what councillor likes what ale and why and the history of those ales and brewers.

Edit: What's with the laugh reacts? That tangent in this turn made me want moar!

You know, it'd be hilarious if the famous Axe never showed up on the whole trip to Dum... And then a turn later we are doing some follow up on interesting minor bog gods and very luckily avoid loping our feet off on a very, very sharp object hidden in this Grim Moor place.

I like the idea that Mathilde asked Pan out to a dinner, and then a year later she invited her on a hike and starts displaying real interest. The time scale of these scenes and these turns are buck wild, it's so hard to really feel how much time is passing.

Well, if he follows in-between steps like "Single-handedly stop a Whaagh at Blackfire Pass" and "Smash Nagash in his latest attempt to conquer the world" it might be worth that end.
Sigmar basically never did anything single handed. His great strength was his ability to gain allies, and unite people under his leadership.

You're both active people, and the Silver Tarn is supposed to be beautiful. Go for a hike up Karagril and take in the view.
