It would solve a lot if problems though...

- Guncer Sunglass
- Robert Baratheon
- Petyr Baelish (assuming he survives until then)
- Cersei Lannister
- Jaime Lannister
- Kevan Lannister
Lannisters will have some protections on them though, and Rob may have just gotten to the point he'll survive by the edge of his teeth (level 10, or something, was it?)
Is there a way for us to make the blast even more killy than the stuff we stuffed in Varys-puppet?
Maybe have Bloodraven pull some bullshit of his own right before exploding all over them?

I'm all for trying even if it doesn't kill everyone, ofc.

Okay, I'll tell you differently. In principle, I am not against an explosion. I just think that it does not give us any advantages. There are two personalities whose death I consider important. Bobby B, and Cersei ... and she's not on the small council, so she shouldn't be hurt by the explosion. The rest essentially mean nothing. On the other hand, killing Bobby B with Cersei's help seems to me very profitable and graceful.
The second thing is that I would like to capture Kevan Lannister alive so that I have more knowledge of the bald lion's plans.

Then let Bloodraven cast Meteor Swarm at Robert and a Quickened, Intensified Firebrand with Wildfyre as the material component at everyone in the room. That plus the explosion will kill anything.

Maybe add a Searing Delayed Blast Fireball or two.

Varys puppet: "You may be wondering why I've gathered you all here today..."

Cersei: "Yes! Get ON with it!"

VP: "Fine. It's that I hate you all, and I have decided to end my career with a blast."

All: "Wat."

VP: "Literally." *explodes in wildfire*

All: *dies*

I sincerely hope you're and Azel a kidding.
No idea about Azel, I've failed to read him on multiple occasion before.

Me? No, I am fully serious.
An explosion is the quickest way to get rid of them all.

You say they are unimportant, and sure, they may be.
What they are as well, however, are meddling entities who will slow us down, even the slightest bit, if left alive.
And I don't know about anyone else, but I have about zero desire to deal with the previous council during or after the Reconquest. And why should we?

All else aside, it' a trap years in making (OOC) and a spectacular show to be seen.

The explosion may be ineffective. The explosion does nothing to Cersei, who is not on the small council. The explosion kills Kevan Lannister, who needs to be interrogation on the subject of his brother's plans. With equal or greater success, one could simply walk into a council meeting and use the mythical Shadow of Doom.
I just don't understand WHY do we need an explosion. Can't we kill any of them without an explosion? Not. Can any of them escape? Only if the little finger, but he must die before. Will the explosion benefit us in terms of PR or something else? Also no. We made a bomb in Varis in case it was exposed, and it was not needed.

It's not about needing the explosion, it's about wanting it and it solving more than a few of our problems in a single blast.

@Azel @egoo consider me game.

Cersei is a nosy bitch. Getting her into the Small Council under a pretext is trivial. And Kevan will likely not know anything of worth. Tywin is paranoid.

I'm getting rather fond of the idea, since it kills so many problems at once and we can bkame all of it on Pycelle.

Pycelle of all people? Poor old bastard. But he would be the only one to survive and "mysteriously" disappear in the aftermath...

We promised Pycelle a nice and quiet retirement after he worked for us. Might as well make sure he shows proper eagerness to ditch his old life and body.

His simulacrum is only half his level, that makes high-end magic difficult.
Particularly with his buid, which costs him some casting-levels in both Druid and Sorcerer.

The idea is to have him use some Old God juice to force the power through the connection to the Symulacrum. Which will undoubtedly wreck the conduit, but it's not as if that matters here.
