Fluff in the setting here is that they're technically ageless. Anu only does of "old age" the first time because magic faded from Planetos.

Whether that includes regular preventative maintenance hasn't been shown yet.
Or he is just plain wrong about why his body broke down. Nobody is omniscient and always right.

When I asked a long while back, @DragonParadox said that Zherys didn't qualify for Blood Wish. Otherwise, he would have already had it.

Sorry I should have made this clearer, Zherys did not qualify for Blood wish before he got a dragon, but doing so means he he is able to reach for it as it makes him closer to the dream.

Also a bit of bad news guys, I have a headache again. I can't even claim I don't know why this time, I have not been sleeping as much as I used to these last few days and it apparently caught up with me all at once, headache and all.

We are going to have to unfortuently leave things at two updates for today.

Ah, that's neat. The Blood Wish thing, not your headache. Hope you get to feeling better.

We'll definitely want to plug in Blood Wish as Zherys' new 7th level spell. I bet he's glad he got that Dragon!

On the day of its fall Mardosh was a city of 160.000 citizens, 21.000 of which were in the military. Not everyone transitioned into sentient unlife leading to a total count of 108,000 civilians and 15.500 soldiers.
Well guess the partial sacrifice research is definitely worth it, it decreases cost by 40IM per use, and just in Mardosh there's 123.5k undead, that mean doing the research, save us over 4 million IM just in Mardosh alone.

It also nets the old gods some serious sacrifice power, I don't remember how many % of a normal sacrifices HD they get from partial sacrifice, but with 123.5k sacrifices, it's sure to amount to a lot, which mean doing the sacrifice research, is also getting us extra respect from the old gods, and giving them extra power for the war against the Void.
Eh. Then they get Soulforged and can stick to their undead form. Whatever floats their bones.
Yeah or we could stick them in Fungus Forge bodies, with all the corpses we just harvested, making CR1 plant bodies for them, is actually cheaper than making Warforged bodies.

Although it depends on if transferring their souls to Fungus Forge bodies take extra research.

@DragonParadox Do the research to be able to transfer a soul from soul gem to warforged body, also allow the transfer of the soul into a soulless Fungus Forge body?

So, this means that all True Dragons qualify for it, anyone with the dragon-blooded class by virtue of being on the path to draconic ascension, and now dragonlords as well. Granted, it's a rare few who claw their way to that level of power in the first place. Level 7 spells are no joke, we just have a habit of collecting powerful people.

@Goldfish, @Crake, I compiled the proposed list, how that the HD from the Undead are fully known, I humbly push the duty of deciding what to pay for with what off on you two.
Mwhahaha
Between both battles, we were able to recover a lot of Undead remains. I'll run all the numbers to work out what we can do with them this evening.

  1. 100,000 Lesser Dead -> 175,000 HD; Max CR 3
  2. 45,000 Chariots, Minor Mages and Champions -> 135,000 HD; Max CR 6
  3. 380 Grave Knights -> 3,800 HD; Max CR 13
  4. 380 Bloody Bones -> 5,320 HD; Max CR 10
  5. 80 Storm Sorrows -> 1,360 HD Max CR 12
  6. 250 Bone Wagons -> 4,000 HD Max CR 15
  7. 24 Beasts of Ruin -> 600 HD; Max CR 18
  8. 9 Battle Mages -> 144 HD; Max CR 18
  9. 29 Ritualists -> 420HD; Max CR 18
  10. Charnel God (26 HD; CR 25)
TOTAL: 325,644 HD (not counting Charnel God)
@Goldfish IT'S TIME TO GET DOWN TO BUSINESS.

I'd like to grow another x1,000 Giant Fungal Darkenbeasts, x500 Magebred Flame Drakes, x1,000 Advanced Thorny Rhinoceros and x3,000 Istaheqs and at least x2,500 Advanced Plant-Imbued Gigantean Manta Rays.

And some combination of Watchmen creatures, especially aquatic variants, specifically, but for other uses, to seed them through coastal cities water-ways/infrastructure. They would stop a lot of infiltration attempts pretty much stone cold.

That would probably use up at least the original 10,000~ CR 6 creature estimate you came up with for the first battle's corpses, and at that point I'm not sure what else specifically we should go for. To be honest I am sure there are some land-based creatures that could augment our forces, but I would prefer we do large batches of whatever we order so that they can be deployed as specialist companies, or otherwise be so ubiquitously useful like Watchmen templated creatures that we won't struggle to deploy them to immediately useful activities.

Creating a huge number of aquatic servitors for our upcoming offensive operations against the Deep Ones would be an easy cop-out for the remainder. Highly recommend stuff that would have no trouble dunking on most chaff, while our bigger units focused on actually dangerous stuff. Some decent amount of casting creatures for augmenting our mercenaries and stuff wouldn't be terrible to be honest, but this is mostly a numbers game and we're behind.

The ones in the proposal not sufficient for the purpose, I take it?
x20 Vigilant Kelps (CR 4), 660 IM each -- Illithidi War reserve
x10 Vigilant Kelps (CR 4), 660 IM each -- Inquisition Forces
x50 Vigilant Kelps (CR 4), 660 IM each -- Free Forces
Cant remember why didn't include them in water Defense groups. Probably because lazy.

Also generally keep in mind that this is pretty good to have on as many units as possible when going against illithids:
Zone of Natural Purity.

It isnt a gamechanger by any means, not at the power-levels saghuain and the stronger slave-units would be, but good enough to make a difference for weaker of our plants in a wide enough battle.

Generally, I would like to hear a "I don't mind, let's make them" to the proposal I threw at y'all, or a "I have grievances, allow me to express thrm" about the same subject topic.
Best of all, we just vote on it (monthly fleshcrafting) already :V

Gmight all.

The limit here is CR 6, so we may as well get nothing less than CR 6.

I'd like to order a few more anti-illithid undead swimmer groups, and a few Necrotic Molds.

Also, I could do with a few volunteers to get a full company going. Mummy Officers would be good. Maybe Fexts.

On that note, maybe a Black Knight variant to serve as ablative armor for the Erinyes. They keep dying.
