Actually, I really want those extra HD if it comes to a fight. @Goldfish, can we be a Solar? I think we just need +2 more Caster Level, right?
Wild Arcana provides a +2 caster level, so any time Viserys uses it to duplicate a 9th level spell, it's current default level is 22 before we do any additional boosting. Since Solars only have 22 HD, we can pull it off easily enough.

That said, I think we should go overboard and boost the spell as hard as we can.

-[] Viserys will use Wild Arcana to cast Shapechange, but only after casting Moment of Greatness on himself (which he'll cancel while duplicating Shapechange), Blood Wishing Harmonic Chorus, then Blood Wishing Spell Enhancer on himself. The combined effects will allow him to cast the Shapechange spell at 28th level.

I don't think we should use a Named Outsider, though, at least not one someone may recognize or know.

Ehhh. Duesal and Egoo just want to buy library boosters, nothing actually important. So we probably don't need to use anything that will much more than get our foot in the door. Any ideas?

I don't even want to be here, to be honest.
Y'all nagged at me that this was important when I last brought it up, remember?

We're here only to... catch the shiny, I guess.
Bleurgh.

I doubt I suggested coming... though I could be wrong.
Not you in particular, but I definitely remember at least 3 people saying we should do this. FOr reasons.
I'm too lazy to look up.

So I guess we are here IC only b/c we hate Mammon and want to buy off what his agents seek, so long as that doesn't being too much Hellven-centric heat on us./

I wanted to be here because:
1. Book auction is probably a good opportunity for good loot and new contacts
2. Chance to buy a few slaves if at all available
3. Mammon's agents are here, we should probably keep tabs on them

Keeping an eye on Mammon is reason enough to attend, imo. The lore he pursues should give us a clue on his next scheme.

We don't have to be anything fancy.

We could just be a Human Archmage and his loyal retainer, formerly of Essaria. If questioned, we can claim that our homeland was destroyed while we were in magical stasis, so we've taken to wandering the Planes.

I still say that disgraced Efreeti who is secretly a shunned Djinn is the best alternative.

Or we could simply be ballsy and go in as Viserys Targaryen. Why can't we go as Viserys again?

@Goldfish I wonder why we never use the Titan form with Shapechange. It has Change Shape, so we could have baller Strength and Constitution while looking like ourselves (or anyone else)...

Because the local commander of the garrison would almost certainly detain us. Though I'm curious if he would actually arrest us or actually deliver backdated mail to us from Big Red himself.

I suspect that the hint that Mammon could be interested in these books is a deliberate bait for us, and that they are expecting us.

So rather than going by the name of someone who doesn't actually exist... we could act as an envoy of someone we know? How about we act as an envoy of ourselves.

Speking of which, there is a Maester we still need to meet at some point.

[X] We are Aeramyx Velaenor, Human Archmage, and Rhaevar Dornareon, Battle Master, both hailing from the Opaline Vault.

That was next, in addition to speaking with anyone else in the Reach we'd meant to, and at the end of the month talking to Andrew Dayne to see how several extremely disorienting conversations with various religious figures (or divine avatars) ended.

Not sure if we need to do anything else personally.

@Goldfish That disguise is pretty faulty in of itself seeing as how the Devils at the top of the dog pile these days are probably a lot more informed on the Material Plane these days, but especially Mammon/Asmodeus' lot. And the fact that it invites almost as much intense scrutiny as popping in as a random Solar does.

An Archmage from some Elemental Plane is about as high profile as we can get without basically pointing a neon sign over our heads that we aren't allowed to be here (without nearly picking a fight with someone over it).

Maybe from the Opaline Vault instead?

[X] Mikael Abdul-Hassan (etymology: "servant of"/"slave of" - "beautiful/benefactor", implying a former slave and attribution toward their lineage's former master's benevolence/patronage) and Rashmi Char

Huh, that looks more like an efreeti, but I can't find the energy to argue

No, the implication of "My beutiful and merciful master freed me" strikes as an egocentric fire genie, instead of a stoic earth genie. That's what I meant.
It could also be genuine admiration/respect for the people who took care of them.

Considering it vulgar could also be a blatant show of disrespect towards the people they felt gratitude towards at the time.

I GUARANTEE you there are some Abdul-Hakims in the Opaline Vault.

That's why I don't feel it important enough to argue. It is just too much of a fine distinction for a name we just came up with.
