That was my thought as well, after someone reminded me that Legendary Items only gain one power per Mythic tier of their owner. So rather than starting with three, Waymar's would only have one.

With that in mind, I would prefer for him to learn Energy Conversion and Mythic Spellcasting (Lightning Lance). I'm looking forward to him being able to fight an Efreeti using a Sudden Maximized Cold Lance.

That reminds me, once our latest magic item order is ready, Waymar is going to be one of the people who gets a Lesser Maximize Rod and a Lesser Quicken Rod. He can use his Sudden Maximize feat 1/Day and he can Quickcast 1/Day, which duplicates a Quickened spell, but that's...limiting. He could launch eight Lightning Lances in four rounds, four of them Quickened and four of them Maximized. (39d6 [136] + 234) = 370 x 4 = 1,480 damage. Even if every saving throw was successful, that would still be 740-ish damage.

😳
So basically, get fucked both Aspects and elder dragons.

Cold Lances will be very useful during the Brass Mint raid.

That's like... enough to wreck the entire Wyrmwraiths complement attacking right now. Or basically any big bad monster out there. And here I thought Viserys was scary.

Yeah, Waymar is ludicrously killy, but very highly specialized.

It's like, you've got fullcasters who have powerful magic, most having a gimmick but in general lots of quality of life from a bunch of spells up to 9th Circle as well.

Then you've got Viserys and Lya, who have basically no obstacles and can cast as much and as many magicks as they want if they have the time to do so.

Then there is Waymar, who can basically kill an unprepared dragon or other HP bags quite trivially.

You know, looking at the stats of our ships and heralds, I have to wonder if any of our heroes will actually get a chance to show up at all. Even just the Moonchasers are pretty terrifying and could probably deal with their assigned areas unless really unlucky.

They will probably soak all those "???" enemies waiting on the sidelines.

Assuming there's a bunch of small things instead of one or two big things, and I'm more inclined towards the latter since we would probably have noticed any larger groups at least a little. If there's anything at all, since it does say "may be hiding".

In this case the Moonchasers are nearly useless on the offence, because mundane cannons and alchemical items can't hurt the incorporeal foes.

Keep in mind there's a snowstorm behind them. On this distance we don't see shit.

Reminder here that the Moonchasers have enchantments to negate the visual penalties caused by a snowstorm, so they can see just fine what's going on. Same for the Wyvern.

Because we have better things to do than have Dany poking the dreamlands, mainly. Also what @Crake said.

Collecting dragons isn't a priority.

Also the deeper reaches of the dreamlands are not to be entered lightly anymore than the heart of Sothoryos. I'll write up an expedition idea for next turn if you guys want though.

@DragonParadox
Since this is a hint of Winter coming here and we are north of the Wall, does Rina get her Wisdom-bonus from her Winter Domain?

She does yes.

Okay, completely random question, but whatever happened to Brienne of Tarth? Wasn't she the Chosen of the Warrior or something? I can't remember.

We equipped her, gave her some companions and let her do small-time adventures in Westeros.

As long as she remains harmless she is the Chosen in the best position to survive our conquest.

How long has it been since then? And have we been keeping up with her, or just kinda assumed that no news was good news?

A Sword Without a Hilt: A Song of Ice and Fire/D&D 3.5 Crossover

A Sword Without a Hilt: A Song of Ice and Fire/D&D 3.5 Crossover In a world where magic has all but guttered to ashes, becoming the fare of charlatans, petty conjurers, and ragged illusionists, a mighty change is stirring. From small and fragile sparks a great blaze will be reborn and men will...

More spells, @Goldfish take note.
Aberrant Essence
School conjuration; Level magus 3, sorcerer/wizard 3
CASTING
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components S
EFFECT
Range personal
Target you
Duration 1 round/level (D)
DESCRIPTION
You angle your body into and out of an alternate dimension in quick succession. Your outer surfaces (and those of your equipment) disappear and reappear in a disturbing peeling effect that reveals inner layers, including your musculature and circulatory systems. At times, parts of your body disappear entirely. At other times, they reappear as roiling layers of disjointed innards that merge and split apart with lightning speed. While under the effects of this spell, physical attacks against you have a 50% miss chance and spells that individually target you have a 50% chance to fail. You take only half damage from area-of-effect attacks. You also have a 50% chance of ignoring solid objects during each move action. Force effects and abjurations affect you normally.
Although you are only partially visible, you are not considered invisible and enemies retain their Dexterity bonus to their AC against your attacks. You receive a +2 bonus on attack rolls and cannot be flanked, but opponents' piercing and slashing weapons have a 50% chance per attack of being treated as keen due to your exposed organs.
The Blind-Fight feat does not help your opponents because you are in an alternate dimension and not merely invisible. Your senses while you are affected by this spell remain perfectly intact.
It's like 50% Concealment, but it kinda can't be stopped by things that usually will stop 50% concealment?
Probably has some uses. Most likely by Illithids, but we can probably strap these on assassin-creatures, eventaully.
Winding Key
School clockwork (transmutation); Level cleric/oracle 5, sorcerer/wizard 3
CASTING
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components S, M (an ornately carved silver key worth 50 gp)
EFFECT
Range close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Target one animated object or construct
Duration 1 round/level
Saving Throw none; Spell Resistance yes (harmless)
DESCRIPTION
Target construct gains an extra standard action or move action each round.
Total Bullshit, yet something most fitting to Clockwork mages - so I guess if we ever find this we'd find it in Axis.
Time Step
School clockwork (transmutation) [temporal]; Level sorcerer/wizard 3
CASTING
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components V, S
EFFECT
Range personal
Target you
Duration 1 round /level (D)
DESCRIPTION
When you cast this spell, your movements become as darting as a hummingbird's, as if the rest of the world briefly pauses while you move and act.
For all natural modes of movement (including land, burrow, climb, fly, and swim) your base movement distance is doubled, including 5-ft. steps (which in essence become 10-ft. steps). You can, for instance, cast a spell or take some other standard action and then make what would normally be a double move.
This will stack with another spell or similar effect that grants an enhancement bonus to your base speed (such as expeditious retreat) but it will not stack with a magically conferred movement type with a set speed (such as fly or burrow) or an enhancement with a specified maximum (such as haste). As with expeditious retreat, this spell will affect your jumping distance.
Ooh. @Goldfish, @Crake, will this work to make Richard even more ridiculously fast? :V
Seems good overall, and BS if we can permanence it.

THat's like Greater Blink, which is a much higher-level spell.
Propably not sensible in comparison and balance.
