I suppose. Still, it'll suck to be them when we stomp their forces into the ground and Bloodraven gets his go as well. Given the amount of power they're dropping here and anything else we haven't seen yet, it'll be a doozy. It was more "The Others are acting in full force against you everything be dammed" and less "Others circumvent magic loop because of anger". Again if restitution was enough of a cause to break the loop...there would be a lot more dead Chosen.
Fair enough. Honestly I figured Viserys has done enough damage in the past that they wouldn't need excuses to try to kill us, but maybe I overestimated our efforts. The thing is that Viserys isn't the OG, he's a freelancer who does business with them, and the balance action thing applies to their opposition alone. Any action they take that doesn't expend a token given by the OG hands one over to them, our provocation shouldn't effect that.
If that wasn't the case then they'd have gained the right to go after us with the force of one exploded mountain when we killed that mythic wight the first time we were here. Blood Raven would probably have mentioned that when we talked to him afterwards.
That list of reasons seems more like a description of how we irritated them enough to notice us and decide it's worth it to send a hit squad to put Viserys down.
...which him is this, exactly? Bloodraven or Viserys?
Yes.
Preferably we would capture all the Wyrmwratihs so we can try resurrecting them to serve us, but I think it's supposed to be rather difficult. Unless we can do that even after killing them here? It probably depends on if there's any remains...I would like to suggest capturing one Wyrmwraith and regular Wraith...if possible. You know how Qyburn likes his undead. We should get one for him...as a gift. A very dangerous gift but a gift nonetheless.
Technically they have not got that Voidshit all up in them, so if they die they go back into the Dragon Dream.Preferably we would capture all the Wyrmwratihs so we can try resurrecting them to serve us, but I think it's supposed to be rather difficult. Yeah, it definitely read like this.It was more "The Others are acting in full force against you everything be dammed" and less "Others circumvent magic loop because of anger". Again if restitution was enough of a cause to break the loop...there would be a lot more dead Chosen.

Yeah, I'm pretty sanguine about the opportunity. It would be nice. The best part of the idea is making The Enemy eat some serious crow by flipping a bunch of dragons they explicitly fucked over. The fun thing about these Wyrms is that they are Whites, beneath all this zombiefication.
Even if we can't outright rezz them... for one reason or the other...
Well, I reckon we could still slap together enough of the Essense from their remains to fleshforge a single True White out of all their remains.
And a True White is a ready-made, uniquely capable wielder for the Heart of Ice, if nothing else.
Would make a lot of places far easier to deal with if we make an uncorrupted Champion-Dragon with no direct relation to either Timmie or the Others.
The fact that we'd probably also increase the poor thing's INT is just the icing in the cake
... is there a reason we haven't done that for other dragons? Or do we need some kind of connection for that? Because it might be easier to do that than go looking for wherever the Blacks and Greens got off to.Technically they have not got that Voidshit all up in them, so if they die they go back into the Dragon Dream.
Meaning Dany can contact them, though to retrieve the soul we'd have to go searching for them like we did Saenena's kids.
Because we can implant more amenable spirits into our flesh chassis and True Dragons all have serious baggage. And if we explicitly want dragons we have better alternatives than Chromatics.... is there a reason we haven't done that for other dragons? Or do we need some kind of connection for that? Because it might be easier to do that than go looking for wherever the Blacks and Greens got off to.
Because we have better things to do than have Dany poking the dreamlands, mainly. Also what @Crake said.... is there a reason we haven't done that for other dragons? Or do we need some kind of connection for that? Because it might be easier to do that than go looking for wherever the Blacks and Greens got off to.
Speaking of the Heart of Ice, I can't remember what that thing does, exactly. Where could I find it's stats? The fun thing about these Wyrms is that they are Whites, beneath all this zombiefication.

I'm pretty sure that the guy Waymar killed is the first agent of theirs that we've killed that the Others gave even the tiniest shit about. That mythic wight was banished for being a fuck up, and that white dragon was basically a beefed up hunting dog.Fair enough. Honestly I figured Viserys has done enough damage in the past that they wouldn't need excuses to try to kill us, but maybe I overestimated our efforts.
Huh. I guess we were just too busy being a problem for literally everybody else, all things considered. We should probably spend more time fucking with them if that's all we've managed so far.I'm pretty sure that the guy Waymar killed is the first agent of theirs that we've killed that the Others gave even the tiniest shit about. That mythic wight was banished for being a fuck up, and that white dragon was basically a beefed up hunting dog.
The biggest thing we do that they'd directly care about is feed the old gods stupendous amounts of exotic food. We were a neat new arms dealer in their Cold War; a problem, but not one worth giving the real enemy an opening to kill. Then we walked up to the front door of one of their facilities, shot the guy at the gate and stole some knickknacks from the entryway. Our normal stuff is more of a real issue, but this is definitely more of a material provocation.

In the words of @Deliste, like a caterpillar got drunk on its way to turning into a moth. 🤢
Granted, when we captured the Ancient Mythic Wight Lord, we also blew up a mountain sanctified to Winter. Though that does dwarf in comparison to the shit we're pulling here.I'm pretty sure that the guy Waymar killed is the first agent of theirs that we've killed that the Others gave even the tiniest shit about. I... very vaguely recall meeting an adamant one a while ago, but don't remember hiring him. I do have shit memory though, so that's not very odd.
It was actually an unintentional expy.Darleth the Delver. Cheeky DP's expy of Trazyn the Infinite, down to stealing generals in the middle of combat.
That was my thought as well, after someone reminded me that Legendary Items only gain one power per Mythic tier of their owner. So rather than starting with three, Waymar's would only have one.@Goldfish Bee Tee Dubs, for Waymar's first Mythic Tier, I'm not saying we shouldn't grab Legendary Item, but we should get it at 2nd Tier when Waymar hopefully uses Purity in a fight to get it. And incidentally there's immediate gratification for grabbing it again at 3rd Tier as the Tier before it gains two abilities, then three and scales all the way to 6th where we can grab it again and scale it to 10th.
In place of Legendary Item which we hold off of for one more Tier, we take Mythic Spell Lore and at 1st Tier pick Lightning Lance.
It also gives Lya time to upgrade it up to par with Oathkeeper before doing so... that sword is going to have so many bells and whistles.
