Just to give my two cents here, I don't think Ur-Priests of our own gods are worth it. Yes it's a powerful class, but it's not like we're lacking in those and it doesn't offer anything we can't get elsewhere. Stealing from the 7 might be more viable, but if I'm not mistaken the Ur-priest fluff says something about almost all gods hating them.

We can probably get them from some of our closest divine allies, but why should we waste that kind of political capital on something we don't need. It'd be one thing if we needed this for something like the faceless men, but this will be ruinously expensive since we don't have a rebuttal to "why not just use a regular cleric multiclassed with wizard or something ?".

It's true, that's why I answered with "shiny".

We personally don't need it. And we can only benefit from it on a microscale, not even a macro one, and only in the abstract.

I feel if we have a PC we specifically want to build using Ur-Priest, we should first have that PC ready to enter into the class first.

[X] None, you can't see yourself implementing this sort of arrangement by rote or example, only in specific cases. Without anyone in mind for it, there's no use to abstracts or nebulous pacts with people you do not know by motivation or inclination, this arrangement one to make only with the most trusted of vassals or comrades.

[X] Although we now have the lore necessary to train Ur-Priests, we do not need to forcefully extract power from our deific allies, as they give it freely. There are other deities with whom we are not allied which may prove better targets, but not at this time.
-[X] Should this situation change, we will revisit the issue in the future.

Ysandrix though...

The MAs point was to see if there will be any consent to the notion from our Deities, so that we keep the result in mind - and either do, or dont, keep our hopes up.

@Crake
You might be mixing two things up here.
We can still teach willing people how to be Ur-Priests without asking our allied gods for extra.

They can tap into the group of gods the Faceless are dealing with, or they can steal from hostile gods like a proper Ur-Priest.
This deal is not requisite to start the asking people to enter the class and start training, as we already voted to do.

If y'all wanna poke one of the Gods with intent to do something with that power, go ahead.

We already do have the access to making these, as per the Third Eye: Conceal-items we could, and have ordered from them.

...Iirc.

...@Goldfish, we did order them this month, yes?
We still need to place our retroactive psionic item order on the 19th of the month.

Here's the limit on total commissions we came place with the Githzerai. Reposting it here for ease of reference so I don't have to track it down again.
*rolls*
  1. 1-5th, 6-10th: Unlimited
  2. 11-15th: up to 100,000 IM
  3. 16th+: Nothing available in this range right now, every crafter capable of 8-9th casting us busy
Slotless Psionic Mind Blanks will cost cost 24,000 IM each. At most, we could commission four of them, though that would limit what else we can order.

Here's my well-established wish-list, then:
--[X] 1 [1/day, Slotless, Unaugmented (7 ML)] item of Zealous Fury (6,854 IM).
--[X] 2 [1/day, Slotless, Unaugmented] items of Hustle. ()
--[X] 1 [1/day, Slotless, Augmented (15th ML)] item of Empty Mind (3,672 IM).
--[X] 1 [Slotless, (15th ML)] Third Eye: Conceal (24,000 IM).
--[X] X-amount of [(15th ML)] Third Eye: Conceal (effective Psionic Mindblank items - 12,000 IM per item).
The non-slotless Mindblanks are a better fit for everyone than the Viserys-only Slotless one for now, imo.
EDIT: So 6 non-slotless Mindblanks with 1 Slotless and the Empty Mind item (for even bigger WIllsave for Viserys when, if ever, we'll need one)

Rather we not piss off one of our friendly gods.
