Can we also ask Bloodraven, perhaps aided by Vee or Softstrider to map out ideal locations to raise Heart Trees to extend the OGs ability to perceive magical and other supernatural influences throughout the Reach?[X] Plan Digging Deeper
-[X] Put the following on the agenda for next month:
--[X] Send teams that will investigate the effects of the pacts that already exist, find out where the rituals where enacted and how they are tied together.
--[X] Send teams to contact those lords who rejected deals to ally.
--[X] Send teams to negotiate with any lord who is being offered a pact right now or will soon be offered one to stop further pacts.
--[X] Also recruit any unaligned Fey in the Reach you might find.
-[X] You will refine the idea of a counter-ritual once you are more informed about the exact nature of effects you are fighting.
-[X] Move on to the topic of eliminating CoS envoys.
I'd wait with that until we got more intel. If we are lucky we can find a way to sabotage their deals by taking over ley lines. Can we also ask Bloodraven, perhaps aided by Vee or Softstrider to map out ideal locations to raise Heart Trees to extend the OGs ability to perceive magical and other supernatural influences throughout the Reach?
If we're fine with dedicating the Heart Tree's effects to hiding and protecting the tree, we could get away with defending them using a minimum of forces, while having the insights provided by the OG could dramatically enhance our efforts to learn the ins and outa of the Fey ritual.

He did send one of his Septons to SD, precisely to see whether he thought the faith of the Seven could prosper under our rule, Lucan isn't totally against compromise, he have his limits, and negotiating with him will be hard, but it can be done.Never, because Lucan is acutely aware of what it means to just accept the lesser evil.
People having convictions and stuff.
Because we're so ridiculously charismatic that even he is charmed by us.
Put one way, Tom of Sevenstreams is considered charming by Westerosi standards--and he is, but he's not Viserys "charm your pants off unintentionally" charming.
So we're basically the player hivemind from Twitch Plays Pokemon.>vomits up stream of rare things no one else in the Plane can provide, who isn't some kind of inimical eldritch horror anyway
Thread!Viserys: "It's just some trinkets, I don't see what the big deal is."
Real Viserys: "I don't understand how this always works. I do it often enough, why don't I understand???"
Lya: "...Hold still, I need to poke your soul."
Viserys: "WAIT NO--"
Thread-Zeitgeist-Hivemind: "LOOTKILLSCHEMELOOTKILLSCHCEMEPLOTMURDERCONQUESTINNOVATERESEARCHPRESSINGBOUNDARIESVIOLATESOVEREIGNTY"
Lya: "Well the good news, you've got something like the Old Gods attached to your soul..."
Viserys: "That's the GOOD news?!"

Rather skin him.He did send one of his Septons to SD, precisely to see whether he thought the faith of the Seven could prosper under our rule, Lucan isn't totally against compromise, he have his limits, and negotiating with him will be hard, but it can be done.
Those will be some fat, fat, fat trees we grow over the leylines.I'd wait with that until we got more intel. If we are lucky we can find a way to sabotage their deals by taking over ley lines.

Don't fatshame the old gods, their weirwoods aren't fat they're pleasantly plump. Those will be some fat, fat, fat trees we grow over the leylines.
Oh, there are still Leylines everywhere. The Forges are powered by Leylines.I thought the leylines were destroyed after that whole "Hammer of the Waters" thing or was that just for the Stepstones?
That was just in part of the Stepstones, I think.I thought the leylines were destroyed after that whole "Hammer of the Waters" thing or was that just for the Stepstones?
Even if the old Leylines were shattered, new Leylines should have cropped up, after all in this quest Leylines is generated by people, in that they collect the energy, created by people doing things, that if they were dedicated to a god would empower that god, that aren't dedicated to a god, so even if you shatter the leylines, if there are still people there, or new people arrive new leylines should grow, because the source of the leylines are still there.Oh, there are still Leylines everywhere. The Forges are powered by Leylines.
Damn, that's a funky tree. You could carve a legit house out of it.Those will be some fat, fat, fat trees we grow over the leylines.
Okay, third question. Is this something unique to the Old Gods or could the future Imperial deity be capable of doing this? Fourth question. Can the Old Gods do this in every region of our Empire or is the Reach unique for this protection?

You made me laugh way more than I made you laugh.@Crake the "violate sovereignty" killed me.
However, I don't believe most of the thread gives a damn about sovereignty. It's about ownership. Our place, our stuff, our world. If you want the rights generally associated with "sovereignty", you've gotta prove you can defend your personal property against all comers like a true AnCap muderhobo!
No problem! Have a good night!I think we will be leaving things at two updates today guys, they have both been rather large and complex (very fun also of course) and I really don't feel like I should be sacrificing quality writing past midnight.
Both chapters today were top notch, and added together are longer than three normal chapters. You spoil us, DP.I think we will be leaving things at two updates today guys, they have both been rather large and complex (very fun also of course) and I really don't feel like I should be sacrificing quality writing past midnight.
