@DragonParadox Does this mean we can safely assume that the Dornish loyalty chart isn't much slanted in any direction but general support? Without Dayne some of the leery pious lords might have made an attempt to talk Doran down but no one seemed particularly like they wanted to rebel against their Prince, and the Prince supports us completely, so without the ability to pressure him into distancing himself from us that essentially means there's not much else we can do to firm up support here.

Yes, there aren't any would be rebels. Doran would have taken more energetic action than a tourney if things were that bad.

I'll update the chart sometime soon.

I guess the only places we need to examine are the Iron Isles--which we should have up to date information on, and the Westerlands, where its a little spottier.

I mean... if Tywin hadn't literally enslaved half his bannermen, his position there would have looked as unassailable as ours does in Dorne.

Such a pity, right? :V

Both Andrew and Jeyne have to make a show of leaving, as it's part of the plan to distract everyone from the scandal of a failed assassination attempt with other gossip.
That's not really in Dorne, they will both be in SD.
I was talking about speaking to them. It obviously doesn't have to be in Dorne, but Dayne just spent the whole day poking at the other religions in Sorcerer's Deep. Now's the time to follow up with him and see where he's at instead of going on another arc and getting back to him after a week or something.

Let him have a week in SD minimum for the experience to sink in. The Inquisition will keep him out of trouble.

True, but you guys don't have to do so now, you can let him take in the sights for a few days if you like.

I wonder how Maelor has been doing in general since he has been in city for awhile.

Anyone else here working from home? This is three days for me now, and I've gotta say that I would much prefer actually going to work. It's weird, I feel like I should be laying around the house, reading or playing with my dog, but I've also got to stay chained to my work laptop in case an important email comes through or shit needs to get done in a hurry.

It's oddly stressful.

i have not left my house for a bit over a week since i don't have to go to school, so a standard vacation for me, except that i have school online.

It was offered to me but I can't focus unless I'm in the office. If I had a better home setup it might be tempting, if only to save on gas, but I don't.

I've been working from home for over a week, and while it was a little weird I got used to it after a few days.
I also work for a good employer (ie, a French institution) so once my working hours are over I can just close my mailbox and I'm not expected to be reachable 24/7.

Do you have a spare room or even just table to set up as your "workplace"?

I found it immensely helpful when I moved from my living room to the work room after 2 or so months. Much less stressing, keeps you focused and you can easier stop work thoughts when you leave.

I've got my setup taking up space on the dining room table right now. It's suboptimal, but I can't set it up in my room where my computer desk is, or I would have been more trouble focusing.

Unfortunately, the chairs at my dining room table are the opposite of comfortable. I jokingly asked my boss if I could borrow a chair from the office, but he actually said I could do it, so tomorrow I'm going to do just that, if the rain stops long enough for me to get it back home without getting soaked in the back of my truck.

I'm thinking about borrowing a folding table from work to go along with the chair I'm going to pick up tomorrow. I've got a spare bedroom I can setup in if I take the bed out. Then I can go in there, close the door to get away from the dog and tv, and pretend I'm at the office.
