Anyone thinks dropping his parentage on him would be good for goading him?
No, banter is for schmucks who eat the bait. We have more important things to focus on than shattering someone's world view. We also don't have time to present proof. Kind of a thing you want to have verified when the person telling you it is trying to "steal your throne".Anyone thinks dropping his parentage on him would be good for goading him?
It was in the vote after we dealt with the Volantine twins, the same one where we gathered our troops.I've tried to check if we woke the Worm up, but I couldn't find anything saying so.
Damn, that's a shame. It sure would have been useful now...
He's delusional... which is rather sad. I honestly expected him to question his heritage, Illyrio and Varys are shady as fuck.
Ah, he knows we're not all about that kinslayer shit.Well he could also be lying, either for Viserys' sake or that of his companions.
Goddamn it Connington, at least teach him to spell.
Excellent. No attempting capture of anyone but Aegon.Sorry for the delay, y'all. Super busy at work this morning.
This is intended to remove Ashara as a consideration while inflicting mutiple different types of incapacitation which will require multiple successes on various Save or Suck effects.
Thoughts and suggestions?
[X] Capture Aegon, he is the key to harming the Mother of Dragons herself in a meaningful way
-[X] The Mind Dragon casts Assay Spell Resistance and launches a spread of Elemental Acid Darts at Aegon.
-[X] Teana casts Assay Spell Resistance and launches a spread of Elemental Acid Darts at Ashara. She uses Celerity, then launches another spread of Elemental Acid Darts at Ashara. Her Shadow-Trace duplicate launches a Fungal Stun Vial at the pair.
-[X] Dany casts Assay Spell Resistance, then targets the pair with Radiant Assault. She uses her Battlemagic Perception spell buff as a Free Action to Counterspell the first spell Aegon or Ashara cast.
-[X] Lya casts Greater Black Tentacles to engulf the temple, then targets Aegon with a Chains of Light spell as a Swift Action. She uses her Battlemagic Perception spell buff as a Free Action to Counterspell the second spell Aegon or Ashara cast.
-[X] Viserys targets the pair and anything else which appears to have a magical Aura within range with a Chain Dispel spell via Wild Arcana, then uses a Maximized Dragon's Roar as a Swift Action. No one casts a potentially debilitating spell until Viserys attempts to Dispel the enemy's buffs.
-[X] Lya reserves her Celerity spell for an emergency response, and Viserys uses Celerity plus Time Stop if he feels it necessary.
-[X] Richard, Sandor, and the Seeker spread out and prepare to respond to any surprises from Aegon or other enemies.
That was the idea, to annoy him. 5d6+50 points of Acid damage is not only hard to ignore, it's also very hard to cast through if you're trying to make a Concentration check.@Goldfish, given that these guys have a lot of powerful wards including contingencies and Nine Lives, maybe we should focus fire and also have the Mighty Mind Dragon target Ashara? It doesn't seem like much would be achieved if f!Aegon was targeted. I highly doubt it would do more than mildly annoy him.
Monologuing in a battle has a long and tested history of ending badly for the people who indulge in it.So we aren't even gone mention we aren't related to FAegon and his group? Even if it doesn't work and he really knows it could effect some in his group.

Resisting the urge to monolgue is like common sense...a super power in it's own right.Monologuing in a battle has a long and tested history of ending badly for the people who indulge in it.
