More pertinently, what's more scary to the Golden Company? Part of me thinks that Dread Sorcerer Viserys Targaryen would be, they are surrounded by dragons all the time.
 
I am hoping we get that Golden Company interlude soon. There is so much for them to lose their shit over. But I especially want to see their reaction to Balerion.

I have been operating under the assumption that he was in Human form and Dany was in Half-Celestial form this whole time. It seemed like a bad idea for either of them to use their Dragon forms for now, considering our enemies on this battlefield.

I know I forgot to mention Dany using Half-Celestial form (again... :oops: ), @DragonParadox, but is that all right?
 
So wait, if we're in Dread Sorcerer mode, are we riding on Balerion?

Wait, Mind Dragons can full attack after a Dimension Door? I thought that the Dimension Door spell explicitly made it impossible unless you had a specific PrC ability (the one Garin has).

They have the Circlet of Rapid Casting effect on their Circlets. If you burn all three charges, you can cast a 4th level spell as a Swift Action, which gives you enough time to make a Full Attack Action in the same round.

Not yet.

So far their countermeasures and traps are mostly working, they are fighting a battle they knew they would fight.
Only when the true dragons fall from the sky and the greater mages die the situation wil become obvious.
 
@Goldfish I'm afraid Talon is right, while you do explicitly make note of using the Circlet to shorten the action itself, the spell text explicitly states that in addition to action usage movements can't be taken in addition, likely because the entire round is used for the transference process from one point in space to another. Like not having all your limbs in range at the same time would be detrimental to movement.

If DM rules in your favor you could say it bypasses that, but it would be a house ruling for Quickened spells with action rules in the mechanics of its effect.

Team Viserys is waiting, like Team Yss, for Tiamat and Aegon to make their move. Everything up to this point has been about sowing chaos in the Golden Company ranks and provoking a response to draw the VIPs out of hiding.

Once they show themselves...it's on.
