Didn't we learn that the Bloodstone Emperor controls even more of the Shadow Plane than that, back when Melisandre, Thoros, and the Misfits cleaned out Harrenhal? I seem to recall there being some mention that Harren himself still existed as some manner of Undead in the Shadow version of Harrenhal and that he was beholden to a being we believed to be the Bloodstone Emperor.

Or is that my memory playing tricks on me again?

He existed as an Undead in the Shadow Plane, but I can't remember any hint that he was beholden to the Bloodstone Emperor.
As far as I know he still considered himself a king in his own right, while being cursed and bound to Harrenhall by his own karma.

    Twenty Eighth Day of the Eleventh Month 293 AC

    Evening brings something of a reversal of roles, you find yourself posing atop artistically chosen rocks under the light of the setting sun and the gaze of a nervous Lady Lynesse Hightower mixing her paints and setting up her easel while Varys flies through the keep looking looking in on reports from lands far and wide.

    Granted not all her mental grumbles are about missing her sunning stones, nor are they all unjustified."How is the espionage in Chroyane not done after a month's wok? There are barely any people in the province. What was the ash-headed fool in charge trying to do, turn every last one of them into assets the better to notice any strangers?"

    Thankfully, news from Astapor makes for fairer hearing, while Grazdan and his companions had not chanced upon the good fortune of the inquisitors sent to the Yellow City neither had they found themselves tangled in a weave as Malarys found in Meereen. The 'Good Masters' of Astapor are, it seems, the most politically unified of Ghiscari rulers save perhaps for the Senate of New Ghis.

    That unity has served them well in weathering both the rise and fall of of the Sons of the Harpy and the drying up of much of the slave trade. According to a note by Lohos the Red City possesses that most elusive of institutions, a city guard that does not take bribes readily. Still, in a port as starved for trade as it has become you have no doubt your agents will eventually find a solid footing.

    "I do hope you are making dreadful plans of conquest and not adjusting the tax code again," Azema says slyly, calling back your wandering thoughts. "Otherwise I am going to have to dreadfully shock everyone who sees the painting."

    "And you so dislike being shocking," you nod sagely, careful not to dislodge any loose stones with your jaw, though you do manage to dislodge a giggle from the young painter's lips almost in spite of herself.

    "Well, no, but I would rather not shock with taxes, new dragon taming regulations, or whatever other means you have found recently to make the world more boring," the alu demon smiles in a manner you might call devilish were it not for the objections of the devils you know. "Now nude paintings of kings..."

    "I'm still wearing my cloak," you reply, streaking out one claw so that the gleam of gold between the scales becomes more obvious.

    "Er..." Lady Lynesse clears her throat a little self-consciously, perhaps uncertain of the etiquette of kingly address in draconic form, not the least helped by the fact that Azema chooses to employ none. "I've always wondered, where did you get that cloak? It looks very... imposing, almost alive."

    "I made it," you reply after a moment, truthfully, but far from the whole truth. "Not alone, of course. Lya was involved as she is in most great works of enchantment." And let's not mention where the materials come from.

    For once even Azema allows that silence to hold. There are some tales one does not surprise one's friends with, however entertaining the telling. Still, Lady Lynesse Hightower does learn a great many more things than how to paint a dragon before the day is done.

    This seems like an action which might roll over into multiple updates and maybe more than one day. I would rather receive our various end of month reports, then move on to checking for a Feywild Forge, just in case it carries over into next month.

    I don't have an issue with going to the infrastructure reports first, but I also don't see any reason this would take more than a few hours. It's only supposed to be a check to see what we've got to work with, posting guards so that enemies don't sneak in and abuse it, and then leaving.

    @Crake, you mind giving me a heads-up for any changes I have to do to the maps on the relevant info-threadmark?

    @Goldfish, same for allocation of mirror-visions and Braziers.

    I am going to start screwing around with them again for a bit;
    Placing down the Slav-Fey we learned of from CoB-interludes,
    Dividing Yi-Ti into the zones of relevant Emperor's influence,
    and some other stuff, but I kinda remember you saying that I forgot to add some province as a part of our territory the last time, @Crake..?

    Same generally applies to anyone who cares as much as a bit about these maps.
    If I missed something so far, please notify meh.

    No changes until after DP gets back to me on annexation rolls.

    But besides that, you can color in the Rhoyne in our colors at this point (and Andalos for that matter) on the political map.
