In favor of Oswald:

@BoneyM has Mathilde ever been hit on? The human men in K8P are all adventurers of some stripe or another and are lacking in women. She's fabulously rich and powerful. Surely there's a daring bravo somewhere around these parts willing to brave her reputation?
Never by anyone worthy of more than her scorn.

...also pretty close to never, period. She's never not broadcasting with her appearance that she's a wizard and that's terrifying to some and intimidating to others, even among those that don't know her reputation.
I like to think Oswald made an awkward approach or two, and Mithilde never caught it, because too awkward.
He would have, come to think of it.
-Lady Mathilde! You're a magnificent warrior, maybe you can give me a lesson or two on fighting.
-What's your preferred weapon, Oswald?
-Halberd, of course! People tell me it's too heavy for dungeon warfare, but my father, Oswald, used to say "Heavy is good, heavy is reliable"...
-Sorry, I'm only good at swords. Got to go!
*Oswald pouts*

-Lady Mathilde! So good I've met you! You see, there's that greenskin band throwing boulders from a cliff over Death Pass that we can't reach with cannons or arrows. I want to clear it out and wouldn't say no to a wizards' help!
-Sounds great! Ducklings, I've got a job cut out for you!
*Oswald pouts*

-Lady Mathilde, I've brought you halfing pie and ale you asked for. Humbert's got sick so I thought, why not me? How are your studies? Great chair, by the way. I'm hungry too - mind if I join you?
*Mathilde snores*
*Oswald pouts*

-Lady Mathilde! Did you notice that mountain clover on the southern side of Karag Lhiune has already blossomed? Here, I brought you flowers.
-Oh, Oswald, you've confused me with Panoramia, she's the flower wizard. I'll tell her to check it out.
*Oswald pouts*

Dayum, Qrech is one of those dangerous Skaven. The one who isn't blinded by pride or greed and has managed to live long enough to be actually competent. The simple fact that he knows not to mess around with the dwarves already shows how knowledgeable he is comparing to most of his kin. Still, this intelligence will make Mathilde job rather difficult since the Skaven will not easily reveal Queekish to Mathilde. She can probably use the deceiver to get close to the Skaven like some have suggested, but even then, actually prying out the language will take some work and time.

Also, poor Max. Got cockblocked twice in having fun shooty adventure. Hopefully if there is a third time, he will finally get his fun. Though seeing the precedents, I do hope it wouldn't result in a black hawk down incident where Max gets stuck in the middle of an Ork army or something.

Finally, the cute puppers. I find it amusing that the humans and halflings quickly got accustomed to them while the Dwarves would continually stare at them warily, which does make sense. Out of the three races, the Dwarves had faced the Skaven the most and the wolf-rats are probably common enemies that tore a good number dwarves. While seeing a bunch of them domesticated is a weird sight, it might also bring back bad memories or war stories for a decent number of dwarves. Well, time would tell if they will get used to the puppers.

As for the vote themselves, pretty interesting. I noticed that one of the options for Edda is talking about her forbidden love with a certain dwarven prince from an isolated hold. That...sounds like something that can be made into a romance novel and Mathilde is a master in those sort of stuff. Anyway, for missing social links, I do have some suggestions.

@BoneyM, if its okay with you, can we add Algard, Kazador, Kragg, Dreng, and Soizic. The first three is because I know some people had mentioned that they wanted to have some interaction with them, while the last two is because I find them to be interesting enough to warrant at least an option for some interactions with them.

"The best kind of good news," you say.

He considers that for a moment. "I'd say Malekith's death or a full-blown Skaven civil war, but I doubt either would involve a cartload of paperwork."
Well, he did call it I guess. I know it won't win, but I kind of want to see a small social scene of letting him know that there's a full-blown Skaven civil war going on.

Guys if we are goinmg to use the Deciver on the Skaven there is one way to get him to open up all at once, tell him we are a cultist of the Horned Rat, a servant of the Yellow Fang on a deep cover operation. Sure it's an insanely unbelievable lie, but that is the beauty of the coin, he has to belive it because of Ranald's power or at least believe that Mathilde thinks herself a cultist, but the thing is the definition of cultist is 'one who belives in a certain god'. It's the perfect sort of lie to sell with the Deciver.

@BoneyM Isn't Skaven Civil War one of the things our Patriarch wanted to hear about, as good news? I wish we knew how accurate all this was.

@Alectai Good note on the Deceiver. If we use that on the Skaven, we might be able to get the tongue out of him. Maybe we need another Skaven to get it though. I mean, who is he going to talk to? Us? Or do you mean to get him to translate the notes from the Chaos Dwarves?

I think, this:

[+] The Wizards of Karak Eight Peaks (locked in)
[ ] King Belegar, to try to get some idea of where he's at with his crisis of faith.
[ ] Oswald Oswaldson, newly-minted Chief Bombardier of the Undumgi
[ ] Roswita, as she rides out the chaos of the influx of Battle Wizards.
[ ] Empress 'Heidi', to be present for the birth of her child
[ ] Princess Edda, on a hunt for weavers across the Empire.

We need a present for the little von Holswig-Schliestein.
Very tempted to agree. Willing to somewhat compromise with Rosie and Heidi, because we visited them last turn, but I do like them both (and to see the hopeful next emperor/empress? Not bad at all)

Please tell me there will be an answer from Algard. Possibly just "AHAHAHAHAHA!", but I want his reaction to this.

When people are important and busy on the level of Kings and Kragg there's only really social situations when there's recent events that suggest them. Dreng's kind of monofocused so there's not really an off-the-job scenario of getting to know him, and Soizic's dropped below the level of abstraction until the Undumgi develop a need for her so if you want to see her I'll need more of a suggestion than 'exist near her and see what happens'.

Added a 'report to Algard in person' option.

Mmm... my concern there is it might trip the 'it's suspicious that I'm not suspicious' clause; Skaven tend to be pretty paranoid that everybody is lying to them and/or out to exploit them (and justifiably so).

Most of everyone else is probably due to a lack of regular personal interaction outside of a professional setting

My personal opinion if I may share it?
Johann, we've interact with him a fair bit but I gotta say I'm not picking up whatever some people are seeing there, friendly co-worker
Gunnars, we barely know him and he's pretty closed off, mutual respect but distant
Kasrik.... What was this a ever a serious consideration?
Oswald Oswaldson, well I mean I guess I can't completely dismiss him seeing that we've yet to interact, not seeing the appeal though and actively seeking him out to form a relationship feels... Forced?
Eshin, hahahah, no
Panoramia, honestly she's closer to being a ship for me than anyone else I think by merit of having a fun dynamic to Mathilde, nothing more than a possibility though I can't say I actually ship it
Sir Ruprecht Wulfhart... Ok but why though?
Gretel... Eeeehh, idk here, it's a bit problematic due to a rather wide power imbalance issue, it's not impossible but she also hasn't been interacted with enough to give me anything to build a ship out of really
Roswita... Yeah no
I mean, I did specifically say I wanted to get to know these characters so we can figure out if Mathilde might want to smooch them, so criticizing my list because we don't know the characters yet feels unfair.

I am kinda concerned that the Skaven civil war is now basically confirmed to be on a time limit of "Until the Horned Rat tells them to drop it", so if we put off dealing with them too long we might be looking at a United rat front anyway.
Maintaining the stalemate as long as possible doesn't seem to be near as viable a strategy now.

Hmm, my thoughts on the Social Vote:

[X] King Belegar, to try to get some idea of where he's at with his crisis of faith.

I do think that we should take this, especially given what happened this turn. It might better help us get some more clues as to whether we should ever use AP to take a shot at aiding Belegar, plus more Belebro is always good.

[X] Empress 'Heidi', to be present for the birth of her child

I feel it's only appropriate that we, Dame Weber be present at the birth of a future Emperor made possible by our actions and the hand of our mutual friend. This is a must, to do any less is to be Impious to Our Friend.

[X] Princess Edda, on a hunt for weavers across the Empire.

It's our EIC that's helping her, and I want to know how that works exactly, so I think it's only appropriate we accompany Prince Edda on that hunt. Also, I do want to get to know Edda better, given the book club and Undumgi issue. Let's not pry into Edda's personal life right away though at our current level of social-link with Edda, it's abit rude.

[X] Prince Kazrik, as he tries to convince Nuln to let him make them fabulously rich.

If we can't social King Kazador, how about Prince Kazrikbro? After all, he is the target of Edda's Rom-com affections. Also, I have a feeling that if Nuln doesn't go through, the EIC would have to step in again to help the Eight Peaks with their Cannon foundry, so some heads-up is nice.

[X] Algard, reporting the Skaven Civil War in person instead of in writing.

Sometimes, things need to be told in person. I feel this is one of them, especially the warning that the current Civil War is on a timer, until the Horned Rat calls for a ceasefire. This is one of the most important pieces of strategic intelligence we've gotten out of our prisoner so far, unless the Grey College already is aware of this, and this is just another piece of corroboration.

[X] No. Mathilde's dragon skull chair belongs only to Mathilde.

No! It's part of Mathilde's Dragon Hoard!

i wonder how long it gonna take before Boney just tell us what the Lustrian egg are

cause at this rate, no one is gonna vote to see what come out of it and how many favor we get and what the Amber are doing with their new Dino

Skaven are paranoid yes, but this is not an Eshin assassin, to match the intrigue skills of the Grey College. Remember trying to lie to them was described by the GM as 'unstoppable force meets unmovable object', anything short of that and the coin wins out.

Dunno, "me the superior Skaven race can read-read this man-thing like a book" sounds like a natural thought for a Skaven.

The social turn is certainly much different than I anticipated. I looked forward more to seeing the kind of interactions Mathilde has in her day to day life, but which are not important enough to warrant a place in the "main" story. A sort of slice-of-life look at her daily life. Instead it seems to be about her going out of her way to travel to specific people, often for several days in each direction.

I'm tempted to make write-ins at some point, but I'm also interested in the options already available. Decisions, decisions…
or piling sprawled atop each other or Johann or Wolf.
Mathilde did not become part of the puppy pile? For shame…

[X] Wilhelmina, to see how she's going when she's not a terrifying financial juggernaut.
The most important, in my opinion. Her last few mentions seemed to hint at her growing towards a bad place, and I want to see her relax a bit before it is too late.
[X] Princess Edda, to pry for details about her illicit romance with Prince Kazrik.
Been part of my mental backlog for a while.
[X] Oswald Oswaldson, newly-minted Chief Bombardier of the Undumgi
More interested in his cat, to be honest.
[X] Sir Ruprecht Wulfhart, as the new home of the Winter Wolves takes shape.
I'm interested in how he is faring, and whether he is still hilariously intimidated by Mathilde.
[X] The Amber College, to see how your donation of Lustrian eggs is going.
Enough time should have passed for some results.
[X] Algard, reporting the Skaven Civil War in person instead of in writing.
Has to be done.
[X] No. Mathilde's dragon skull chair belongs only to Mathilde.

Edit: Trimmed down my list

With Dreng, I can't really think of a reason if you portray it that way. Though at least with Soizic, how about as a training partner. Hubert has been training with her and it wouldn't be that out of a place for Mathilde to ask him and in turn her as training partners, to ensure that she doesn't get too rusty. Aside from that, I can see Mathilde also taking this as an opportunity to see what kind of girl the Ulrican Wizard has a crush for and get some teasing material out of it.

Heidi because she's the empress, Belegar because of his recent issues. Algard because I want her to be able to go "So about that civil war you mentioned..." :V

[X] Check in on your fief in Stirland.

Edda seems like she could use a steer on humans, as well as being a potential friend.
Being seen at births of Imperial Heirs is some good profile-raiding.
Belegar is self-explanatory.
We should start making contacts in the Undumgi.
Algard because he did us a solid. :V
Wilhelmina because I've thought we should speak to her off the job for a while, see how she's really doing.

[x] No. Mathilde's dragon skull chair belongs only to Mathilde.

The chair was dwarf-crafted for a purpose, that purpose was reading scandalous Druuchii smut romance with the upper privacy-jaw closed.

[X] King Belegar, to try to get some idea of where he's at with his crisis of faith.

Priority No.1, any one who say other wise can go eat soggy bread

As I said.

Welp, also adding
[X] Algard, reporting the Skaven Civil War in person instead of in writing.
Because it NEEDS to happen!

I think I will generally want at least one each for Undumgi and Dwarfs going forward here. Keep in touch with the people around us, outside the job as well.

Edit: time for tactical voting. Never thought the day would come when I abandon Rosie...
Edit2: Rosie's in again. Hopefully, it won't bite me
