This round is as much about getting ready for the fight to come as it is eliminating the chaff. I don't want to expend too many resources just yet, as we haven't even reached the Mind Worm, and Faerex hasn't made a real appearance yet.

[X] Plan Opening Round
-[X] Relath casts Ancestral Awakening to learn the Invoke the Cerulean Sign and Hydrophobia spells.
-[X] Dany cancels her Sign buff to set her Initiative check to 24, then Dreamcasts a Repulsion spell set to repel any enemy who attempts to come within 50 feet of the group. She uses her Ring to Counterspell the first enemy spell to be cast as an Immediate Action.
-[X] Lya cancels her Heightened Awareness buff to gain a +4 bonus to Initiative and uses the Rod of the Battlemage to cast Flashburst as a Swift Action, positioning the burst to not only affect the Fishmen on the opposite side of the chamber, but also the Mind Worm and our draconic observer, if possible. She then casts Greater Black Tentacles as a Standard Action, making sure to encompass the entire floor of the chamber in the effect, as well as having the tentacles climb up the walls, to the limit of the spell's ability.
-[X] Viserys casts Heal on Dany, uses the Greater Staff of Quickening to cast Dragon's Roar, then uses Celerity to cast Time Stop. Once Viserys recovers from the effect of using Celerity, he casts Arcane Spellsurge as a Swift Action then uses Wild Arcana to cast Sphere of Ultimate Destruction, placing the Sphere in contact with the crystalline ceiling separating us from the Mind Worm, ready to begin boring a hole through to its location as soon as the Time Stop ends.
--[X] If the Time Stop persists another round, he casts End to Strife as a Swift Action using Wild Arcana, then expends a 9th level spell slot to Summon an Elder Water Elemental and sets it to immediately attack the Mind Worm when the Sphere breaks through to its location.
---[X] If the Time Stop persists another round, he uses Ancestral Awakening to learn the Sudden Maximize Metamagic feat as a Swift Action, then expends an 8th level spell slot to Summon 1d3 Greater Water Elementals to harry our enemies.
----[X] When Time Stop ends, Viserys targets any enemies who still live and are within Line of Sight & Effect with a Searing Agonizing Firebrand spell as a Swift Action then assumes True Dragon form as a Standard Action.

RE: Ceiling being in the way of turtlifying, I'd assumed you did want to move out of the huge-ass scrying focus and potential ritual chamber.. Not like the debrii will hurt us any through a force bubble. Something that is rather unlikely to be replicated by this gathering of fish minions, as an aside.

Good odds that 'through' is a shortcut towards the dragon's inner chambers as well.

@Goldfish, time to shill my favorite spell : End to Strife !

It has an amazing AoE, deals over 20d6 damage whenever anyone makes an attack, and best of all : we're all immune due to Mind Blank, but they aren't !
We can activate End to Strife and then start wrecking them with Fiery Burst or our breath weapon, thereby using only a single level 9 spell (+1 Mythic Point) to crush this entire force. And this should also affect the Worm Thingy, AFAIK. It isn't immune to Mind-Affecting, right?

Well that's certainly something.

Okay, plugging that into my plan in place of Freezing Glance, though the Mind Worm is, in fact, immune to Mind-Affecting effects. It's still an amazing spell with a huge AoE and a 22 round duration.

SIX SECONDS IS ALL IT TAKES.

Edit:
You know, looking at how @Goldfish thinks when it comes to combat, Celerity followed by Time Stop is probably going to become Viserys' signature move. See this round of combat.

He opens up the fight by dropping support spells, then extends his preparation time by cutting in line to get a Time Stop in.

After this, he shortens his phases and does something flashy with his guaranteed bonus round due to 1d4+1 rounds.

If he has some extra time, he then casts exactly the spell needed to screw over the opposition, not because he has to, because he already did something ridiculously risky under ordinary circumstances but instead made it into "showing off". At this point he's just being a dick. He rounds off that by throwing a surprise Big Boy at someone, again not even because he really needs to, but just because he can.

Then if he has even more time, he does that again. And is he finished? No, because regardless of if he gets to dick his enemies over, he exits Time Stop and literally turns half the opposition into a cloud of ash and cinders. And then turns into a murderbeast so anyone or anything that "thinks they're 'ard enough" finds that while they were hard enough to deal with one waify bishounen, they very much are not 'ard enough' to tangle with a goddamn Red Dragon.

And learning the Sudden Maximize feat isn't actually intended for blasting, though it could be used for that, but instead for a followup Time Stop to be used later in the fight, one which will last a guaranteed 5 rounds. :drevil:

In hindsight, Viserys' is basically T-Posing all over this fight. If he actually gets three or more consecutive rounds to dick around, I think people might go "Gods damn, Viserys, leave some for the rest of us why don't you?"
