The changelings barely had any screen time, are adorable, and could probably do with some parenting.


In fact, have we arranged for permanent caretakers for them? People to raise them and bond with them?

You could just ask for screentime for them. It's not like DP would say no, and plenty of us would enjoy the update.

As for permanent caretakers, the changeling babies are our official wards, so that's something Alinor would have handled on our behalf.

We haven't forgotten about them, it's just that they're still infants. It's hard to have much meaningful interaction with a non-sentient poop factory. It'll be a while before they become actual people.

There was a cute interlude with them not too long ago.
 
Which form is Relath using? Brine dragons cannot shapechange without spells, right?

Technically they shouldnt even be able to talk, much less run around at their age.

They are developing at a far faster rate than humans do.

At the rate they are going they are probably acting close to five year olds at this point.

Oddly, I think being a dragon will reassure her, dragons are known quantity whereas mysterious kids who order dragons around are far more concerning.

Our goals here are threefold.

1. Declare ourselves to the local government and smooth over any feathers before they're ruffled so we can trade in peace.
2. Potentially set up some diplomatic ties with the local government that can later be strengthened alongside Shaitan and Djinn delegations.
3. Let everyone in the city get a good look at us and Relath, knowing who we are, and making clear that the Plane of Balance is not going to be easy pickings for any random opportunistic Brine Dragon. This last part was forgotten for the most part, but it was the original reason Relath suggested this trip in the first place.

I think decapitating the first to try and sending it to be displayed in Vialesk would probably be a more prosaic example for the likes of these. :V

I mean we could also kill one. There was one that had beef with Relath yeah?

Then again it is Relath, he probably deserved it.

It's also an excellent excuse to go dragon hunting, which we haven't had a chance at since forever.

I really wouldn't be surprised if one or more Brine Dragons tries to horn in on the Plane of Balance action. Knowing their temperaments, the first will probably attempt to take over Tolos.

Hijinks will ensue. And murder, of course.
