Those dead set for or against marrying Anton don't have to worry about strategic voting: 'Marry them' vs 'Marry me' will be tallied first, then preferred marriage candidate/time is counted separately.

Keep in mind that Anton is a feudal (or whatever you would call the empire's system) lord, and as such expected to have an heir & spare, at least. Does Mathilde seem like the child-rearing type?
She could be, we delt with our journeymanlings well enough. Besides even if Mathilde finds that she hates raising kids Anton seems like he would love it.

Also nobility historicly very rarely functioned as their childrens primary caregivers.

[X] Marry them...
- [X] Reinhild Gerber
[X] Steward

I'll go with this for now. I'll need to think about the marriage, since I wouldn't mind adding someone to our extended family.

Actually, did we ever introduce Anton to Julia? We didn't work with her long, but we know that she's well enough competent and that she's good with numbers.

GUYS! I've figured the perfect, definitely-not-zany scheme to ensure Anton luck in marriage!

We know how Anton has a god-tier luck in Diplomacy, right? Well, logically this would extend to make him the ultimate matchmaker. So all we have to do is ask him to find the perfect match for a young'ish Imperial Noble whose traits happens to describe Anton perfectly, and then whatever union he proposes will be the optimal one for himself!

It's perfect!.. Though if Anton ever wants to meet this mysterious bachelor we may have to develop some highly specific illusion and trickery spells to fool hi-Er, I mean "keep him working optimally".

that. If you think this crosses a line, go ahead and bat your eyes at Anton or wave your sword at those silly buggers along the Aver and you've got the percentages to stuff the djinn back in the jar. But the way I see it, with the Countess selling everything she can get her hands on, there's plenty worse than me that could have bought it."
We are definetly to personally involved to be making that call.

I hope Mathilde realises that just because dwarfs don't feel physical urges and attraction doesn't mean they're incapable of feeling romantic attraction and loving someone.

Or maybe dwarfs are incapable of romantic love, but I would assume not considering they seem to be capable of loving something in general.

[X] 'Head Ranger' (Spymaster), Internal Focus
[X] 'Head Ranger' (Spymaster), External Focus
[X] Court Wizard

Court Wizard is my favorite, but so long as Steward doesn't win I'll be happy.

Mathilde has never been one to sit on the sidelines. So why not pick the job that best fits doing exactly that? Edit: Gah! Just pretend this isn't mis-worded, please. Edit 2: Added secondary vote and/or anti-stewardship vote. Siiiigh.

It looks like both Steward and Court Wizard are best for college favor, on that front. Either we bring in information and economic benefits (eventually) or we bring in paper-worthy material.

[X] Stay single. Marry for love.

A bit, actually? She is rather caring and affectionate. And the long absense from home is not that much a problem for a noble, that's why you have nurses.

And on the topic of being good for Anton's house - Mathilde brings 36% share in EIC. That's a lot of money and power.

If no woman gets him, Anton will eventually win the affection of the Everqueen.

It's often said to new Apprentices that many of the greatest deeds of the Grey Order will never be spoken of, and while that was true for the Empire at large, the exception was among other Grey Wizards. Algard and his Towers of Screaming Death, which reliably draws in Chaos warbands who seek the forbidden tomes supposedly encased within and walk right into Imperial Army ambushes. Kurtis Krammovitch, double agent turned triple agent turned quadruple agent turned unofficial diplomat to the Hedgefolk, who technically breached the Articles but fought sorcerers and necromancers for new recruits in areas where the College's influence didn't otherwise reach. Walther Kupfer, who fomented civil unrest from the slave pits of Clar Karond and caused inter-house feuds that still periodically explode into violence to this day.

And Wilhelmine von Bucht, who shattered the House of Goellner when they thought their trade empire had made them too powerful to tax, who dismantled every Smuggler Guild from Middenheim to Fortenhaf, who concealed the Imperial Regalia and forced the just-deposed Dieter IV to retreat to Talabheim without performing one final theft.

Quite the set of badass reps.

God the world-Building is fantastic in this quest.

Mathilde is a proper lady and thus has a sixth sense as to when she's on-camera and keeps from thinking certain things during that time, but one might make as an unrelated observation that a certain amount of physical urges and attraction might not be unwelcome.

I mean, Spymaster can bring more of, like...
Trophies?
Dissecting Skaven, disassembly of their "engineering", maybe finally figuring out how to write about Waagh (on which we are probably one of scarier specialists atm)...

It should also be noted that "Marry for love" doesn't strictly rule out that Anton ends up with Mathilde later on.

... In fact, I'm pretty sure I read that shoujo once.
Anton/Shallya/Ranald OT3?
I am @Omegahugger and I approve of this solution.

Actually, did we ever introduce Anton to Julia? We didn't work with her long, but we know that she's well enough competent and that she's good with numbers.
There was also AntonXPanoramia which in the grand Touhou tradition was seaborne way before either party met.

Child-rearing is not the same as child-bearing. I would not expect Mathilde to be a doting mother. Not when traditional motherhood would be at at least four of her action slots per turn for years following every child's birth. There's a reason that Grey Magisters with kids traditionally hand them off to someone else to raise.
