His name is Felzath Farseer. If you ever forget it's one of the info posts -- Here Be Dragons.
That's what I said, Greenrelath.
But seriously, his hoard is perfect for laundering some funds into House Crabb's coffers, what was our portion for recovering it? Things like old coins from the ancient pointsmen would be a believable find for them, specially if we deliver the news via dreams or something similar.

Here's my revised proposal for Rina's level up. I've removed the retraining of Craft Wondrous Item.

I've also included an updated spell loadout which takes into account her additional spell slots from the level up and the ability to prepare Fell Drain spells.

Hence why I said "Make them En mass. IE in the forge. Also at this point I have abandoned the plant route and am looking at Hags. Hell it doesnt even need to be a plant anymore thanks to the new forge.
I've always wanted an Uniila. I was sad that the one we stole from Mammon earned Viserys' undying hatred and made herself unrecruitable. Hopefully there are more in Hell that aren't dedicating themselves towards murdering us.

In all honesty if we could grow a hag in the forge we have the perfect teacher. I just need to know if we can do that or not.

I am sincerely surprised more people haven't shown up. I'm convinced people finish reading, get up to date, and severely underestimate the rate of updates and discussion, then get spooked off.

Such is our curse. :(

I think I am done for the day. I simply can't find something with a High Int and a +12 Diplomacy. Well I have found them but they are so freaky that they would send most would-be students kicking and screaming to the high hills.

Edit: Or something more suited to being a fucking druid or Sorcerer than a Wizard.

Edit2: Or a fucking fey.

We aren't restricted to recreating known Monsters at all it's just much easier than creating a stat sheet.

If something is close you can throw a template on it.

Reminder that DP has approved a Fey Forge parallel to the Fungus Forge in Lys. We could make our own Fey once we figure it out. :p
If we are making these things, can't we create them with Profession (Teacher) ranks? Like a skill package or something.

If we can't, could we research how?
We're the ones making them, there's no reason we can't customize them and move skillpoints around.

I mean if we slap a Half-dragon template onto something we could probably make anything amazing.
Making Half-Dragons would be awesome, yeah. I'm drooling over the thought of having a few dozen Half-Dragons ready right before we go after the Deep Ones (even if it's not going to happen :( ). I still remember how we brutalized our first Ulitharid as a Half-Dragon.

Here is the thing. "A half-dragon gains skill points as a dragon and has skill points equal to (6 + Int modifier) × (HD + 3)" Meaning that just finding the right monster would solve the "12 Diplomacy problem". I just need a high Int with high HD monster.

Y'all realize... you could just put together a research action to create something entirely new and suited for teaching Intelligence based casters. S'no biggie... even a Herald could probably deliver a decent lecture. In fact a Herald could probably raise a primitive society from the mud to the bronze age in a few decades working with nothing more than what it has on hand (which includes fire hot enough to eventually melt regular steel and a big magi-mechanical brain with a small library on just about any subject lodged in its head). Creating skilled and intelligent constructs or bio-platforms isn't beyond our means.

Anyway, as @TalonofAnathrax pointed out, our biggest limitation isn't going to be teachers, so much as manpower, since costs rise exponentially the further over the cap you go. On a cost basis, we're already spending over half a million every year on mage schooling... technically SD on its own might be doing a commiserate amount of work on our magical brain trust as every single Scholarum possessing province put together. (Hint: It definitely is.)
