@DragonParadox, although the shop wasn't established to turn a profit, can you tell us how it's doing financially? And do profits have to be reported to the authorities in the CoB?

It might seem weird if we're seen spending far in excess of what income the shop generates, y'all.

I want those cats and leaches. Cats for the deep and the leeches for our magical prisoners

EDIT: The cats will make for incredible familiars for our mages

The shop turned a profit of 6775 IM this month. You guys can of course report a higher profit and pay more tax to allay suspicion if you want

I was thinking the same thing, but worst case the fakir will think we are smuggling something dangerous and will ask to get in.

Oh, wow. That's a really nice profit. Running a magic shop is surprisingly lucrative.

That said, we can't reasonably report too much profit or that will seem suspicious, even if we're willing to pay more in taxes.

@Duesal, we probably should tone down what we buy. Better safe than sorry. :(

[X] Purchase them all
-[X] Flame Clove seeds and 50 human slaves used to tending it Cost 9,000 IM
-[X] 1 Mirror Serpent (Creation can be reverse-engineered) Cost 2,592 IM
-[X] Breeding population of Wizard's Shackles (No limit on the total number of spell levels absorbed) 14,400 IM
-[X] 8 Dweomercat Cubs Cost 8,424 IM
--[X] Total: 34,416 IM

All good but saving baby kittens most important.

I want the cats and I want the snake. I'm fine with leaving everything else.

That said, @DragonParadox, can Maelor and Malarys give us some kind of estimate in what we can get away with spending?

Maybe we can negotiate? offer payment in kind even if we have to spend a little more money, pretend Maelor is embezzling some of the Store's profits?
@DragonParadox whats the tax rate for our store?

30% including bribes

It really depends on how creative and solid your story for where you got the money is.

[X] Duesal

I wanted Dweomar cats for their Antimagic abilities (through grafts) but cubs are too much, even for me. And we can simply add it now so it aint a big deal.

Honestly I'm just assuming this is spending based on Maelor and Malarys not dropping the ball on subterfuge here. Kinda figure we would have a heck of lot more options is it wasnt taking fungability of their money source into consideration.

For a small private retail business? Wow, it's a economic hellhole too as well as a moral one. Tell me that's after expenses?
