  • [X] Lex Luthor
    [X] Oswald Cobblepot
    [X] Oswald Cobblepot: An up and comer in the newly expanding world of super crime. Oswald can be both a semi-legitimate businessman and an out and out supervillain with a wacky umbrella gimmick. Oswald starts off with a lot of resources but lacks personal combat prowess making him reliant on others to get the job done. He is regarded neutrally by most of the players in the underworld and can work with virtually anyone provided they don't push him too far. Penguin's end goal is to make as much money as possible by any means necessary to set up a nice little nest egg and an umbrella for when it inevitably starts raining blood in Gotham
    [x] Joker
    [X] Brainiac: Brainiac is a twelfth level intellect and an alien supercomputer originally designed on Krypton. Picking Brainiac means starting on Krypton and having to escape before the planet blows up but not alerting the council of elders in order to make sure everything goes smoothly. Once Brainiac has escaped from Krypton Brainiac's goal becomes the collection of all knowledge. Brainiac is undoubtedly the most powerful option available but he will regularly go up against interstellar organizations and will have to cultivate relations from scratch.
    [x] Brainiac
    [X] Lex Luthor
    [x] Brainiac
    [X] Lex Luthor: The head of LexCorp and the man who repeatedly goes toe to toe with Superman. Lex is a self made man who cannot stand the idea of anyone being viewed as superior to him. Lex views himself as the peak of humanity and refuses to be overtaken by extraterrestrials and metahumans. With his vast intelligence and incredible resources Lex repeatedly challenges and aims to defeat those who would stand above humanity. Playing as Lex gives the user massive amounts of resources and generally good PR. However once Superman shows up Lex must take a supervillain action to try and defeat Superman in some villainous scheme. Going up against Superman is one of the hardest things you could possibly do but if anyone can defeat the last son of Krypton its Lex Luthor.
    [X] Lex Luthor
    [X] Atrocitus
    [X] T.O. Morrow
    [X] Sinestro
    [X] Carmine Falcone

And I suppose that is my cue to let out a warning early. Right now Lex is winning the poll. This is because the Penguin votes have been split due to formatting issues. I am aware that this may have been due to how I wrote out some stuff in the initial post. However, I do not want to set the precedent of me having to go through the list of votes manually in order to determine which one actually won (since that would get really complicated when I have to select multiple winning options for things like action selection). The winning option will always be the first option in the vote tally (in the case of action selection it will be the first few on the list). If you still want Cobblepot to win and you are part of the vote split I recommend you edit your vote so it will be counted properly.

We need to begin preparing early for the campaign trail. No better way to piss off Superman than by becoming president.

"President? Foolish, faceless man; my campaign is a farce. A small part of a much grander scheme. President... do you know how much power I'd have to give up to be President? That's right, conspiracy buff. I spent 75 million dollars on a fake Presidential campaign, all just to tick Superman off." — Luthor, Justice League Unlimited, "Question Authority"

I will say that is incredibly unfair. Punishing voters for your mistake.

@Rossum
@Manulius981
@john fox
@Theaxofwar
@Dawiusz

you need to change your vote format

I will say that is incredibly unfair. Punishing voters for your mistake.

My mistake was writing the thing with a colon and then leaving the description on the same line. I have seen others do it (the main inspiration was Latveria Quest which formatted similar and didn't have those issues as far as I could tell) I was not expecting it to split the vote and it is not intended as a punishment. In the future I will format it differently to make it easier to just copy-paste things properly.

That said I am not responsible for making sure votes are properly formatted. It is quite easy to check how to format and randomly leaving a colon on the end of your vote is a very easy thing to fix. Having to deal with as many options as I will in the future (the next vote has over twenty different options) and so I want to set the precedent that proper formatting matters since it will quickly become nearly impossible to sort out what actions are taken if people don't format right. It might not seem fair for me to disregard improperly formatted votes but I also don't think it's fair to make an incredible amount of extra work for me by not formatting correctly.

So you want to set an example by punishing the real winner because you set up the vote format poorly and failed to clarify earlier. I see it's everyone else's fault if their vote is not counted. Fine. As QM, you can do whatever.

Lex Luthor actually is winning now, with 23 votes (22 of which are properly tallied). So the "real winner" isn't being punished, now it is just a tie between Lex & Cobblepot.
