See what happens and then decide if we should speak up or get our friends to do stuff in the background basically?
There's a function to measure that?
I think now would be a bad idea to use magic. Guaranteed to be someone watching for it.Ah, if we had a non Dywden high-social party memeber here, they could have the freedom to speak and argue in favour of actual virtuous thingys like "fey aren't inherently monsters" and ask the right questions to prevent fear and promote understanding (and I mean promote proper understanding, because the fey are not inherently awful (except the awful ones), but they are frequently dangerous, living stories tend to be imo)).
@DragonParadox - is there in-crowd muttering going on (we can use as a cover for message-whispers) or is it respectful silence?
[X] Playing our hand here is not useful, but care must be taken that the Tyrell's attempt to portray the Court Of Stars in a positive light not cause the septons ignorant of the truth of their nature get the wrong idea, and have further harm come from it (apart from the harm we intend, at least).
-[X] Silent Still Message :: d20srd.org and whisper questions to the appropriate groups of septons to prompt them to ask the fey questions that poke needed holes in the inevitable deceptions.
-[add in?] See if the whole Court of Stars story-land plan can be brought to light by this, unless that goes too far against the "splintering of the faith" plan.
[Edit: so, 3-4 people hear the question, but it's vague where it came from, and then they ask because it sounds like something worth asking to them)
Sorry for vagueness, but this is basically "Viserys thinks on his feet", because while I do feel this is not time for Dwyden to speak, I do want to mitigate the long term damage caused by the Tyrell's attempt to make the Reach a story-land.
*Catches up*
@Crake anything in my vote of use? Or is risking casting a bad idea in general thread's opinion? This is a level 0 spell, with a spell providing one metamagic +1 and an item providing another +1. I think Viserys is warded well enough to get away with it.
Not a lot of discussion, which I had been concerned about, but unfortunately I don't think an interlude would work with the flow of the story.
Is there anything else you guys would like to see?

Right now all they did was ask to trade with fey and from there it will escalate. If the string gets cut here then expect Kyle's plans to fall apart.
I wouldn't mind seeing more of Riverland and its dungeons/horrors. We have two more?
I know that is what we are voting for. I am just saying that if this vote doesn't go through then his plans fall apart. If you cant trust the fey with trade of all things then marriage is out of the question. We're not voting to skip past this vote, we're voting to see initial reactions. There's no way the Anti-Fey crowd won't be making some probes against Kyle's motion at the very least.
If the reaction is tepid, we might have to reevaluate our approach here, but I honestly expect having to support Kyle initially, only to withdraw that support later on at a critical juncture when he comes to rely upon us.
I think we're pretty well settled on a certain course of action. At this point, there's not much for us to do beyond gather info, poke at the factions without giving ourselves away, and wait for a golden opportunity to manipulate the Conclave to our advantage. That doesn't really leave a lot of room for discussion, beyond speculation on possible reactions among the gathered clergy. Not a lot of discussion, which I had been concerned about, but unfortunately I don't think an interlude would work with the flow of the story.

I feel we could use more of the conclave's deliberations after this little bombshell. Not a lot of discussion, which I had been concerned about, but unfortunately I don't think an interlude would work with the flow of the story.

I was hoping for some rumor posts when you've got the time. Not necessarily about us this time, just the general state of Westeros. Not a lot of discussion, which I had been concerned about, but unfortunately I don't think an interlude would work with the flow of the story.

So I'm seeing a lot of interest in Wnterfell (Jon Snow in particular). Normally I would go with a Riverlander interlude instead but it is again late with a lot of rolls to do so what I'm tempted to do is do a Winterfell interlude now and when I get back to the Riverlands put in links to the previous parts of those stories.
Does that sound like it could work?
