My biggest issue with the resolution (besides what was already mentioned) is that Syrax left as she came, rather fast and without doing much

I didnt vote to keep her alive so she was used this way, but because I found her interesting

On the whole my opinion of this entire debacle is: we could have just kept to our status quo. You know, where make choices that work but have costs and we regret that it had to be made even if we'd still do it again because guess what, it did in fact have to be made. And this doesn't make us Evil because we're not an angel, we don't have Falling as a metaphysical mechanic, we can do things that have negative consequences for others for the sake of a greater goal without locking our alignment.

But I voted Snowfire because that was not an option, and stopping feeling regrets when we something we do has consequences we dislike on a moral level is stupid given how much of our work is put into minimizing such consequences. Half our actions would stop making sense!

The examples picked were almost universally crap too, in many cases things that are not our fault. But that's what happens when you rush it, I guess.

Shit storm basically.

Bit of a moral absolution but nothing we already weren't doing OOC, just Viserys doing it IC because the dead goddess who doesn't have the damn decency to stay that way threw it at his head and yelled think fast.

Also Rina in the interlude, that was nice.

I read the updates and assumed a shitstorm happened. Did anyone really get offended here? I read something about Azel leaving?

[X] Last Minute Prep
-[X] In addition to using various Divinations to select the best possible timing of the three simultaneous raids, and using appropriate buff spells immediately before the attacks commence (based on duration of said buffs);
--[X] Malarys will cast a Chained Nine Lives spell on himself, all of the Companions taking part in the raids (Viserys will handle his own), and the Lantern Bearers. If he has any remaining targets available, he places them on the Erinyes who will participate.
--[X] Viserys will cast Magic Army on the weapons of everyone involved, increasing their Enhancement bonuses to +3.
--[X] Lya and Rina will make certain that everyone participating is protected by Life Bubble spells.
--[X] Vee will be given three doses of Golden Desert Tree sap to allow her to cast her Summoning spells as Standard Actions.

Ain't no kill like overkill.
Rip and tear 'em, boys!

Mmm, I just had an idea.

What major things do we have scheduled for next month?

I daresay, that taking an expedition to Plane of Water and setting some much needed anti-illithids contacts there would be much prudent with The War coming ever closer and us likely even talking to Gith this turn.

Those Cerulean Sign-things Relath found there?
We need a lot of them.
For Oldtown, all of our cities, and Ironborn settlements, at the very least.

Thousands of trinkets, likely.
We can't craft that many.
Probably can buy, though.

I am trying pretty much every avenue. I shall keep this in mind.
120+ True Names of Devils in service of Mammon thanks to Uniila

With every Summoned Devil knowing but as little as 1-5 True Names?
Eventually, that expands so far that no repeats in knowledge stops the endless amount of "handshakes", so long as we thoroughly scour their minds for said names.

And wouldn't you know it, we have just the means for that.

Want me to write up that as a clause for next moth's MAs, so that DP always gives us new True Names alongside the summoned numbers from now on?
We've been steadily moving towards that since the last month, when we first quantified True Names, anyway :V

It might not be quick in getting all of Erynies he owns, but it will be inevitable at that.

Ooh, I'm loving that Uniila more and more.

Ah, yes, the down to earth, simple, unambiguous, non-nebulous and uncomplicated combat vote.

As the Tyroshi say, kill them all, and let the Gods sort them out.

No. We have no idea what kind of compartmentalization he has going. And there will certainly be a lot of overlap in the names known.

But only after the @Magpie Knight sorts them for use as reagents, trophies, Necromantic rites to communicate with the personality matrices embedded in their corpses, Fungal Forge fodder, etc.

Then the gods can have what's left.

don't you go about ruining my fun, meanie!
:anger: *pouts*

As pointed by DP himself much, much earlier - Noodle straight up cannot take that sort of trouble it would to stop us from summoning a seemingly random minion of his, unscrewing said minion's head, and summoning some more Devils from that Minion's knowledge.

Sure, maybe it won't be an eternal self-sustaining process for us.
But Uniila's knowledge is just too vast, and we have a Mindblank so he cannot know which minion is going to be summoned at any given point in time.

So, even with overlap in expecting no less than 500-1000 various Devils before we no longer can lead any new True Names.

And @TalonofAnathrax, if he does go that route, he'll be divinating the fate of literally every single minion of his.

That's be such a stupidly massive expidenture of resources, that I wouldn't even mind him making us unable to summon more :V

More likely, he'll go for higher-standing minions of his, and protect them.
And even that is fine and dandy - he wastes some resources, we get a near-limitless supply of True Names.
All is fine and well.
