Still seems like something that can be done without our apparent direct intervention. "Trios" gathers the faithful, tells them he truth, congratulates them on their path to perfection, and calls it a day. Anyone who remains afterward is just a private citizen not practicing an organized religion.
We already promised Yss we'd persecute this, IIRC. We give the Trios followers a public warning, get the wax golem dude to reveal the truth, and then after that anyone preaching gets the Inquisition knocking at their door.

Ah, I just hopped over and read it. It was great.

Good for the soul even.

Don't know why, that's just the first thing that sprung to mind.

Most magical girl anime are pretty grim once you think about it.

And she has spent a lot of time training herself to think about what messages people's words and actions convey.

Happy to see you enjoying going through it! @TotallyNotEvil just seems to keep up with it so that he knows when a HT update is due :V

Also thinking about this deeply has made me realize that warlocks are magical girls.

gonna go make that bbbbyyyyyeeeeee

I mean, if you really want to make a Magical GirlTM there was an interesting piece of homebrew that I was involved in that might serve. Azel beware.

It was even involved in an omake I did ages ago ;)

That is better fluff than some canon 3.5 D&D supplemental sources:confused:

I've been re-reading psionics books (EPH and CP) now that I gave you guys a psionics users of your own and some of the fluff in those books has me rolling my eyes at how simplistic it is. The broad statements about what 'evil psions' or 'good wilders' or any other combination of alignment and class are particularly jarring.

Yeah, it took us...um...a while. It was a huge amount of fun being involved in it though. My main (and visible) contribution was in the PrCs section, but I helped Selinia with the base classes as well. Was my first real dive into homebrew creation. The funny part is that was the second iteration of the project - the first one was an utter mess.

And the classes are honestly super fun to play around with, just to see what you can make.

Be warned I may steal some of the feats and abilities :V (though not the aesthetic obviously, they would not fit the tone).

Not all light is wholesome and pure. Sometimes it burns, sometimes it can turn you strange and twisted in the shadows cast. The memory of Light is as old as time itself, back unto the moment of creation before which only a handful know. That power is given strength by those who might seat themselves alongside the angels, but it is not its only face.

...ok, where did that come from. Brain please.

Seriously though, if you want a particularly interesting opponent where Light is a major component to the aesthetics of the field, Tome of Radiance is really good for that. Not all that is Radiant is Good. Mammon, after all, covets all that which is beautiful.

Note: if this convinces you at some point to use something from ToR, PM me. As someone who helped build the system, I know pretty much all of its tricks.

@Snowfire you do any work on Princess the Hopeful?

I've run that for years now and im seeing similarities.

Nah. I'm not a massive fan of PtH actually.

Thanks, I will.:)

For right now though good night guys see you in the morning as we finally move towards the team fight semi-finals (I have hopes of covering two fights) while also doing more politics and intrigue.

We have a Whispering Brazier in Castle Black, ya'll. We could contact Jeor to speak with him about Jorah's fate.

To chime in on the Bear Isle situation, I think part of the issue is the reliance on fishing being perilous due to raiders and icebergs, especially in winter.

I also have some thoughts on both climate and geology of Planetos that might explain things. @DragonParadox, are you interested in that? I would have to draw some maps to explain stuff. Would take a day ir two and I'm still far away from my computer.

I would be very interested. In depth world-building is one of the things ASOAF is rather lacking in.

[:V] Do another interview.
-[:V] Send Glyra to trail Robert Baratheon to a tavern and interview him once he is full as a sailor.

"S--so you see Glenda--"

"Glyra."

"I ain't gotten proper drunk since Targaryen made off with my fuckin' Tavern. My ancestral tavern! The tavern of my forefathers!"

"Really?"

"Yeah! Fucking Targaryen shits! Haven't got the BALLS to face me like a proper man!"

"That's a funny coincidence... because Viserys Targaryen said the same thing about you... from the taproom of the Golden Hearth!"

"I'LL FUCKING KILL HIM!"

"...and also... you've just been punk'd!"

"Wha--"

"SAY HELLO TO THE FANS IN ESSOS, USURPER! THEY LOVE YOUR COMEDY ANTICS!"

"I wasn't fucking joking!"

"That's what makes it funny!"

We all know that we need to make this happen.

Why haven't we tried to do this yet? We don't want to kickstart the rebellion yet?

[X] Speak to the Mormont party about delivering Jorah (Will occur after their meeting with Amrelarth in the Circle)
-[X] Explain that it is within our power to contact Jeor Mormont at the Wall using magic. He can send one of the Lesser False Ravens entrusted to the Night Watch from there to Bear Island with a message for Maege to fill her in on the details which have transpired and to learn how she wishes Alysane to proceed now that Jorah has been captured.

@TalonofAnathrax, @Duesal, @Sqweaktoy, @Crake I think this might be a better way to proceed. It also leaves Team Bear in SD longer, giving us more time to acquire Werebear Legion soldiers.

Jorah probably won't take the black though. I expect him to take the noose.
Furthermore, my plan was a political move. Being seen peacefully delivering a prisoner in Winterfell or even just Bear Island is a PR win. We can leave immediately afterwards of course (no need to stick around and talk) but doing it visibly is the goal here.

I certainly hope he takes the black.

I want to experiment on him and make him an anti-Other supersoldier.

I wouldn't be so sure, I mean he probably got over getting mega-dumped the first time presumably by getting mega-drunk.

But he did get over it. Kinda... sort of.

If you squint.

Pretty much. Showing that we can get an agent right to a piss drunk Robert is brazenly broadcasting to all of Essos that we can kill him whenever we want and that there is nothing anyone could do about it.

I mean... we got Amrelath and we just shown the world what a bunch of knights like the Kingsguard can do against him. The answer is "fuck all".
