- Changed
Name: Garrick Golden-Feather

Age: 41

Titles: Emperor of Gryphus, King of Griffonia, Inheritor of the Imperial House of Gryphus, The Unifier, Great Winged Alpha

Description: Before your wife got her talons on you, you were a fairly typical example of the Griffon species. An unmistakably masculine build, a strong, prominent beak, feathers and fur that seem to be perpetually well-groomed, and a pair of piercing amber eyes hiding a fierce intelligence. Not anymore though. Oh, you still have all those qualities, they're just overshadowed by the massive amount of muscle you've put on since you started your wife's "enhanced training regimen". Your wings can lift dumbbells, and your legs are like tree-trunks supporting a barrel chest rippling with abdominal muscles. In short, you have the build of a person who has been lifting heavy objects his entire life.

Knightly Orders (Self Maintained): In the old Empire, Knightly Orders were typically made up of Griffons of noble birth who joined a fraternal militant organization dedicated to martial excellence, honor, and a number of various edicts of moral strength. These great warriors dedicated themselves to the Emperor and the protection of the common Gryph. Tragically, few of these brave souls survived the reign of Discord. Persons of Interest

???: A friendly and strangely casual Griffon female you met at your inaugural ball. Despite having a wonderful evening chatting with her, you never got her name.

Garibaldi Talonuelli: Formerly the Duke of Wingbardy, now the Grand Duke of Wingbardy, Talonuelli is a beloved public figure in his home province and an experienced administrator. After saving his city and people from Brochard's attempted invasion and negotiating his province's vassalage over a few drinks, you'd like to think you can count him among your friends.

Federico Montefeathertro: Duke of the (former) City-State of Urbirdo, and your Father-in Law. He might just be the friendliest of the former Feathersians, having agreed to back you and your kingdom without question or condition during the Brochard Crisis, and hiring a mercenary outfit as a belated wedding gift. You're reasonably certain he likes you, as much as In-Laws can like each other anyway.

-S is for Sabotage: You might not be ready for an invasion of the Southlands, but Ravenburg's spies have thus far had no trouble traversing the landscape without being detected. And now that you know the locations of several mines within enemy territory, you have a chance to disrupt the enemy's war machine. Have Ravenburg equip some of his agents with explosive charges and incendiary devices and see if they can't cause some havoc behind enemy lines. Cost: 300. Time: One Year. Reward: Crystal Mines destroyed, production disrupted. Chance of Success: 40%

Required: 60. Rolled: 90+15(A Soldier's Vigil Omake)+15(Gawain, My Son Omake)+13=133 (Super Crit!)

If the mines were made to that low a standard it seems like this could have happened without our intervention. Our intervention just made it more dramatic.

He's an Evil dictator, not an architect. I assume he had people to do that for him, before he brainwashed everyone into slaves and tried to conquer us.

He's probably regretting that decision at the moment, if he can think of anything through his no doubt apoplectic hate boner.

[X] Mistress of None: She will receive instruction in all subjects, ensuring a well-rounded education. +None, -None

Alright then, we have all the time we could ever ask for.

It's time to abuse it for all it's worth.

Considering we have been rolling hazard rolls odds are everyone else is two. So ya maybe. My question is how the heck was those mine even productive with methane leaking into them? Workers must have been dying like flies from the methame alone. What a waste of life.

Required: 30. Rolled: 82+18=100 (Art Crit)

+300 Trade Income, Increased Modernist Sentiments throughout Yak Population.

A bit of a shame we weren't the first to make the settlements, but the logging should help to make them next turn anyway
Required: 20. Rolled: 80+18=98

To be Continued in "The Sunrise Kingdom"
Niiiiice! I expect info on the Windigos/Umbrum, or at least an immediate start to trade!
Water-logged land drained, additional farms constructed, +300 Farming Income
that's nice too. As long as we have food and wealth we can expect a MASSIVE population increase.

I think we were somewhere between 3 and 6 millions, but with sufficient advances to farming and medicine there is no reason we can't go even 10 times as high given enough time.
Required: 30. Rolled: 72+15=87

And this should help in building the settlements. Also to keep up with the population increase i expect in the future, and trade with the Yaks (if they modernize they'll need timber too)
Blast Furnaces Constructed, New Actions Unlocked, Battalions now cost 150 Gold to Recruit.
...eh, would have been nice before all the hirings, but i can't really complain. It will still come in handy in our next upgrade to the army (and we DO need at least another, maybe two)
Required: 60. Rolled: 90+15(A Soldier's Vigil Omake)+15(Gawain, My Son Omake)+13=133 (Super Crit!)
!!!
Crystal Mines Completely Destroyed, Production completely shutdown, Enemy War Economy Thrown into Chaos.

...Ok, I don't know what to think!

I thought the best moment to go on the attack would have been AFTER Sombra's next offensive...but it seems it will take him quite a bit of time to recover.

Maybe we should consider taking all the upgrades to our military we can in the next year or two, ask for the Yak's and Qilin's support, and attack first.

We sadly NEED at least another year to prepare, but the BIG positive is that we can avoid the defensive actions (more fortifications) and instead prepare for a full offensive!

If the Qiling have something to deal with the storms and spirits we're GOLD
Considering we have been rolling hazard rolls odds are everyone else is two. So ya maybe. My question is how the heck was those mine even productive with methane leaking into them? Workers must have been dying like flies from the methame alone. What a waste of life.
Sombra: "I had more"

The Methane wasn't in the mines themselves, but below them. The explosives planted by the Dogs ignited the gas completely by accident. Had they known that the gas was there they might have acted with a bit more restraint. Remember, they barely escaped the blast with their lives.

There's always more slaves being born. What's the life of a worthless insect compared to GLORIOUS CRYSTALS.

[X] A True Golden-Feather

Also I'm going to assume that the Enemy "Economy" is basically material for Sombra to create Units and maybe craft magical trinkets or something, i don't think Sombra is going to attack anytime soon.

[X] A True Golden-Feather

Also have to think dynasticly here. We are eventually going to need to marry her off, and the most likely place is to one of the merchant houses to better weld them to the empire.
