Yay! New feat!I would say she got enough XP facilitating fey negotiations to get to level 6.
The Inquisition probably. Since they regularly hunt fiends and fae they would probably consider a regular human to be quite relaxing.
"Good news," the golden-haired witch said with vicious cheer. "This thing just admitted to killing hundreds of people, that means we can skip judging and get right to sentencing in the name of the King's Justice."
Shes placed well enough to know things are going to get worse before they get better.Tyene managed to salvage things. She was just planning to keep her from a depression spiral but what Leila took away from all this is that she should get stronger so she can help.
If she can't use a feat to qualify for a PrC, then she can't really get into anything good. Should she just stick to Archivist? I'd suggest at least taking Paragnostic Apostle, because it has some decent class abilities in the next few levels (unlike Archivist ones, which really aren't great for a while). For example, she could take "+1 insight bonus on dispel checks" right now, or she could get bonuses to blasting spells (+1 CL, or 50% of her damage ignoring resistance against Evil enemies), or give Fast Healing to her summoned creatures, or a +1 to DCs against some enemies, or a +1 CL when casting transmutation spells that provide ability bonuses. Oh, and she get Bardic Knowledge too.Yay! New feat!
I really want to get her introduced to rudimentary runecrafting if possible.
I'd prefer just keeping her as an Archivist. She doesn't need to be a minimaxed PC.If she can't use a feat to qualify for a PrC, then she can't really get into anything good. None of these bonuses are earth-shattering, but they are decent. And Archivists don't get anything decent for a while, so... Why not? +1 CL for some spells is excellent if we make a good choice of spell, for example. And +1 to dispel is amazing.
@DragonParadox, if you want to free up space on the first page how about editing Hestior's character sheet? The Lar will never see combat and can't actually fight, and yet many lines and characters are used on things like "Attacks N/A", etc. There are a few sheets/items like that the could be trimmed, IMO. Do we need links to outdated PrCs that no-one actually took?

More or less this.Keep her as Archivist.
Unless there's a crafting-class for her?
No point in making her a fighter, she isn't one anyway.
There is something wrong with the way the forum tracks characters per post. After updating the sheets for Viserys and the Companions, I put the whole thing in a word/character counter. It's less than 140,000, but the forum thinks it's over 300,000. As an experiment I removed the entire stat block for Varys the Pseudodragon, which isn't that small, and it was still over the limit. If she can't use a feat to qualify for a PrC, then she can't really get into anything good. I'd rather not. We might not necessarily be in desperate need of crafters anymore, but I liked Leila as Lya's official assistant. There is something wrong with the way the forum tracks characters per post. Hestior isn't on the problematic page.
On the topic of Leila, what if we retrained her crafting feats? That would open up a lot of options, and this latest encounter could be the impetus she needs to reprioritize her training for combat.
A reflavored Maester PrC would be super neat, especially with that Quick Crafting class feature.@Goldfish, @Duesal: I like the idea of Leila as a crafter. She was ennobled for that, after all!
Note that Crafter PrCs exist! The Maester PrC requires an arcane CL 5 (and being a gnome, but DP tends to waive such requirements) and it loses a spellcaster level, but at level 1 it grants crafting at double speed. If we can grab any trick to get an Arcane CL, then I strongly suggest having her enter! Or begging DP to let a divine CL work: the class is meant to be wizard-flavored, but isn't an Archivist a divine wizard?
Then there's the Runecaster PrC, which grants a bunch of rune-related feats and is very easy to enter. The runes used aren't quite permanent magic items, but it deifintely has the spellcasting feel and would be very fluffy if we taught her Runecrafting I this level.
Fetish (Ex): The shaman receives Craft Wondrous Item as a bonus feat and gains a +4 insight bonus on Spellcraft checks to identify magic items permanently.
