So it looks like there is support for Valaena vs Vesil, Bonifer vs Mors Umber and Oberyn vs Grazdan.

Of these the second feels like the one with the one with the most narrative potential. I might end up doing one of the others too tomorrow depending on how the updates go.

Thank you. :)

@DragonParadox, how exactly are the sword-bearers for the Great Sept of Viserys being chosen in the tourney? We never specified how we were doing that, so it's a bit awkward that the septons asked us to choose.

I mean, that's what the core does, although Benjicot recently split them into three groups because they'd gotten too big and unwieldy. You still need a bunch of guys who know what they're doing in order to coordinate the locals and get shit done.
Added it back in. :V

Gave them the advice to only come together in, at most, 100 people from the core. There should be plenty people in that who can organize a basic camp and with the Ravens and the Brazier, communication or distance is no longer an issue.

@Azel
What do you think about contacting the Tullys soon?

We have an in through the savage bard and generally speaking Hoster has a good nose for picking the winner of the next war.

@Azel, what about rotating mages?

If they're amenable, offer Scholarum training to their mages while loaning out our own Scholarum mages. It'd be great XP for our mages, and give the best training in Prime Material for the Lads' mages.

I dislike the ******* Tullys. They fought against us in the last war, they aren't necessary now, and they did a shit job at managing the place: where are all the cities on those nice trade routes along the rivers? In any case, we'll be partitioning the Riverlands to their disadvantage and they'll hate us.

And anyway, nothing good has ever comes from that place (Baelish, Lysa, maybe even Catelyn were pretty terrible).

Kinda iffy from a info-sec standpoint, as that would quickly spread out knowledge about their locations.

I would rather not do that and instead leverage their work for Inquisition operations in the area.

Thread Hateboner, so I'm not interested. Hoster is supremely expendable.
I've always been okay with dealing with the Tullys since I like Edmure. It's been pretty awkward for me with everyone saying the Tullys absolutely cannot retain their Lord Paramountship, so I've just never bothered fighting that losing battle.
Hoster Tully not only basically betrayed us in the last war, but he's also a weak lord in an important area AND he's in bed with the fucking Fey. Ugh.
???

Since when is he in bed with the Fey? That's the Tyrells.

I'd support you for it. You won't hear any support from Benjicot, who wouldn't piss on Hoster if he was on fire in a ditch, but realistically getting Hoster to flip would win over the entire Riverlands.

What on earth are you talking about?

There's a separate jousting and melee list for knights seeking the honor with the winners of the two competitions with the higest scorring in both handed the honor of guarding the sept. Technically that is 'Viserys choosing them' since he set up the rules only without him haveing to get too involved beyond the ceremony at the end.

Actually, not really. Selling to Hoster that he trades his current Riverlands for a smaller chunk of Westerlands might be hard and there is no way we leave him in charge of the place his family has been fucking up for generations.

For one, Darry and Frey would be pissed at it.

The bottom line for me is that Hoster is expendable precisely because a lot of people think like Benjicot.

Hoster also married a Whent. He's well aware that if a war starts and he's on the wrong side, there's a lot of Targ loyalists who hate his guts - he's got zero interest in Riverrun becoming a second Harranhal.

It's also his Big Red Button, because if he uses the Brazier in the right way, it summons a Big Red Dragon.
For ultimate security can we give him a Sending Stone for contacting us directly?

Also, @LonelyWolf999, wasn't a Crownlander with a Lannister bride supposed to be leading a force in Cersei's name against the Lads? What happened to that? Did that battle pass without note or something, or has it not even happened yet?

Ultimately, I simply don't care about his well-being or survival. I have no intention of actively torching down Riverrun, but the political situation of the Tullys makes it the most convenient thing if he is firmly on the loosing side of this war.

Moving at the pace of how fast I can write.

IC, organizing an expedition in secret takes a while and the crownlanders are viciously fighting over who gets to be in charge.

But until the war starts having his quiet acceptance for our plans and loyalists in his lands would be valuable.

Reducing his lands can come after the war.

Alright. That we can work with.

[] Plan Insurrection Preparation
-[] Give them 20 lesser ravens, 5 greater ravens and one of the newly made Braziers for communication and scouting.
-[] IC: They will get plenty of supplies, both monetary and in provisions from us. Use these funds and food to their advantage. OOC: We add The Lads as an army to our sheets to simplify accounting for these supplies. This includes his hypothetical numbers of peasants, so that he has enough money to go around.
-[] They are to establish semi-permanent local bases in the Bay of Crabs, Darry, The Trident, Southstone and Blackwood. Further outposts in Seagard and The Crossing would also be good. Focus on locations near the major rivers and use excess supplies to start building well hidden caches for the coming invasion. (See the map.)
-[] The core of their army gets high-quality steel equipment. (100 tons worth)
-[] Keep up the good work, but be careful not to antagonize the lords too much.
-[] Assign them 5 of our Advanced Druid Lotus Leshy we had made this month as magical support, both for healing and to hide their outposts better.
-[] Map:

@Duesal, @Goldfish, @LonelyWolf999, thoughts?
[X] Azel

@Azel Add 10 Healing Belts to the supplies we're sending. They have a good healer, but she can only be in so many places at once. I need to know which Whispering Brazier you want to give them, as all those crafted so far but not yet assigned were made for a specific location. I'll need to reassign that one for the Lads.

What? I thought we agreed that you would slot in 20 Braziers this month that are not assigned to specific locales yet? I need those for the military and projects like these.

Edit: After checking again, yeah, there are 20 braziers in the plan with no assignment mentioned.

Edit 2: Ah... your inventory... I'm actually tracking the Braziers myself over here.

I was talking about the braziers we've already crafted which don't yet have homes. I'd completely forgot about those being crafted this month at your request. I'll make a note that one is earmarked for the Lads.

Also add a note that one is earmarked for Kings Landing while you are at it. I will update my list and the map once the end of turn comes closer.
