How would you guys feel about seeing the Sandor fight from Viserys' PoV wile he talks to Lord Darry by telepathic bond about his plans? it feels like an interesting juxtaposition to me but I know some of you guys wanted to see inside Sandor's head.
That sounds cool but I was hoping for a Sandor POV. You could still give the idea a shot for another fight, though.

We could make a steam powered one. Though there is a non-zero chance that the Bulabar would make it instead an oversized Doomwheel.

Sure. Best have both of them in the royal box so that we can chat a bit while watching the matches.

"What issss this thing you call 'commentary'?"

"Well... you get to narrate things as they happen for the audience in ways that creates excitement and helps them understand the implications of what they're witnessing from derived details."

"Excellent. I will now begin to explain everything."

"O-oh... oh dear."

LATER

"Why are they all running away and screaming?"

"Ill prepared... ill prepared for the TRUTH."

I now imagine Yss trying to start a media career, with such highlights as him auditioning for a theater role as Vee and him trying his tail at comedy during open mic night at the Golden Hearth.

Did you just invent televangelists - with cutting out the middlemen?
"And clearly lord Yss meant 'make sure you get your cut' when he said"
"Thisss isss not trrruuee the wayy you ssay it. Let me exxxplaain ..."

Clearly it's Varys. I would absolutely not be surprised if he turned out to be better at holding grudges than legit Dark Gods.

It's REALLY hard to decide there.

In general and degree? Tiamat has a fair lead in both scale and longstanding history, and few can hold a grudge like her.

Mammon got ABSOLUTELY HUMILIATED in the most abject and clear way there possibly IS. But one could argue that though Tiamat's humiliations have been more quiet, they were probably about equal.

But in terms of "actually sees us as more than a obstacle to be crushed", and like, actually identifies us as a person to be hated rather than just feelings of hatred for "the winged insect that dared to shame me!" ... that would have to probably be Tywin or Robert. None of our Essosi enemies really have any personal connection to us, to them we're just the looming threat on the horizon to dread, anticipate or (attempt to) plan around.

Clearly it's Varys. I would absolutely not be surprised if he turned out to be better at holding grudges than legit Dark Gods.

Mammon for Viserys, Tiamat for Dany?

This seems pretty fair, at least in personal enmity, though I outlined Viserys specific reasons, and then mitigating circumstances (alien psychology or general insanity).

Varys seemed to hold a grudge against the entire world, so I'm not sure if all encompassing emotions were quantified when he decided we had to be "removed". I would dare say if the "idea" of us is more worthy of hatred than who we actually are, then it doesn't really count. That could be shuffled into the "mitigating circumstances" pile. He'd feel much the same about any sorcerer or high lord.

Well, if grandma could make herself belief it's possible she would see us/our coalition as a potential existential threat. And we are descendants of the guys that took her (ungrateful) children and made puppies out of them - and bioengineered themselves into a better version of her children.

We're also taking a Domain out of her hide before this is done.

Or she understands the concept when it's written down, independent of the author. Because the writing is just a key to an understanding of reality, and reality is everywere. Because when BS, BS right.
Ah, but she clearly marked the distinction between "information" and "knowledge" to Harry. I do believe she says something like "understands what the author does". She doesn't know if a theory is true of false by itself, she just knows the theory as well as the one who wrote it down did.

It's easy to infer that she is pulling the information from the author, or perhaps from the act of writing itself, which like you say, sounds very plausible. After all, that's when you are pouring your knowledge into words.

But anything Viserys is writing should be protected by Mindblank until he lets it go. Considering the shenanigans involved in Dresdenverse magic, that alone could go a long ways towards fucking with the spell, after all, it missed the writing itself.

She can't look at the act, she can't look at the author. She gets perfect copies of everything after they are done.

That's why I'm thinking she'd have trouble with it. There's little space for the understanding to be plucked, even if the raw information is.
Also, @TotallyNotEvil to be clear, Ivy gathering information isn't an explicit spell effect, in my opinion. It's just literally what that giant ball of power on the same order of magnitude as a Faerie Queen and with an equal or greater (more probably the latter) level of available knowledge does. The Archive knows everything written down. This is simply what she is and does.

High Valyrian is new to her, but it's not an insurmountable obstacle. She's probably having fun with it, learning something new, and if she was slightly less restricted she'd probably have outright called Viserys and asked to visit by now.
It'd be the actual bit of reading she'd have done in her entire life, if you think about it.

I'm pretty sure it's quite impossible to decipher a language with zero references. One could construct an incredible number of models and theories and eventually arrive at the correct on, but I don't use incredible lightly here. Even then, if your are good enough to make those models, you still might dimply make an entirely different language that sounds reasonable but isn't what's written.

But, if Viserys leaves notes on High Valyrian-English for Naomi to learn, perhaps while one of his clones tutors her, Ivy could use that to piece together the common words, mleaving only the jargon to be inferred.

Bloodraven, ultimate televangelist. He looks utterly horrifying, but he makes it work!

"I eat the souls of oathbreakers at dawn, after a night of unimaginable torment beneath the roots of the blood-trees. Oh, you can pray for your salvation..."
[dry laughter]
"But your Gods know what I did to the Seven. Will they defy me for your sake?"
