[X] Blow the Charges and Bury Them!

It said that this was everything, we bury them then we send in our knights orders to start killing. Sombra also has stupid levels reliance on fear magic, being in a enclosed space such as a city or fortress would cause mass panic which could get people killed. An that was canon Sombra this is, killed genocide all the umbra ponies of super super evil creatures and absorb their power.

Awesome Omake! :D

Watchmen Funnies

Also here is the Music Video

We have 600 knights, 3000 if you stretch it to include squires and men-at-arms. There are fifteen thousand elite infantry waiting for us. We're not going to win this on the strength of our elites.
The thing is next time they appear we will have done some preparations of our own.
Best case scenario, possibly have contacts with a friendly shogunate/empire of Neighpon.

Of course, worse case we will be dealing with a violent conquering shogunate/empire attacking about the same time as Sombra returns, so...
I would even take Vassalage to Neighpon over being conquered by Sombra.

[X] Blow the Charges and Run!

Why would a man as tyrannical and domineering as Sombra use slaves in his military if undead were a viable option?
Well, that I can answer. He gets twice as much use out of each pony (once alive, once undead). Oh, plus the psychological effect of seeing the dead rise again instead of just the result.

And if he can raise them mid-battle? Our exhausted army would have absolutely no chance if they charge, only for 50 000 dead to stand up behind their lines and flank them.

His theme seems to be shadows, not necromancy. And we haven't really seen him do anything necromancy related in canon or in this work, besides rearranging the essence of the shadow guys which is part of his shadow theme.

Sombra doesn't have necromancy. It has never been shown to even be something he could do. The QM has given no indication that he can raise the dead at all. People using that as justifications for facing his elite core that is more than likely a bit stronger than our own elites. Even if we kill some of his forces with the avalanche elite wise we are still going to be horribly outnumbered and we saw during the last war how elites cut through regular troops even veterans. As for the blizzard and ice magic that is following Sombra so in order for it to be repelled. We need to force him to leave. The only way to do that is to break his army. We have a better chance once we are refreshed restocked and rearmed every advantage we have cuz right now we have no advantages and he has every advantage. Sombra will not die in this war we have no way to do it we can't banish him all we can do is force them to retreat so the magic withdrawals with him.

Too Short For An Omake (Yet!): Blackguards @Questor

Those who fought against the Army of Darkness that day thought they had faced the very depths of Sombra's depravity - what could be worse than the legions of enslaved soldiers, than the unwilling torn apart and stitched together into Abominations, than his own people eradicated, consumed and resurrected only to be broken to his will. What could be worse? - Those who served him willingly.

In the Crystal Empire tales are told, whispered under tears - of Those!

Those who opened the Gate even when they saw his True Nature. Those who turned against their True King. Those who sold out the last nests of Resistance.
Of course Sombra tested even Them, to the breaking point, and beyond. Their Souls and their Bodies, their Minds and their Hearts.
Those who served him for power, died quickly and painfully, for he would permit no power but his own. One look into their soul, and it was torn out!
Those who served him to save themselves failed the First Trial - to cut out their own heart. Their bleeding carcasses were consumed by the others as part of their Second Trial.
Those who served him to save someone else were given the option to die for them, or fight them to the death in the Third Trial. Either way, both of them died. For Sombra knew the Power of the Heart, even one as black as his own.
Those who served him to one day take revenge, were challenged in personal combat, for he knew the smoldering flame in their hearts from his own. It was their Third Trial, and their last.
Those who served him out of hatred for their own kind were given domain over each and every pony they knew as their Third Trial. If the living did not soon envy the dead, their dominator would join the latter.*
Those who served him out of personal loyalty were tested the most. They had to witness all Trials, and endure every torture the Hateful or Sombra could think of. Those that endured, were made whole again, and more than ponies.
Those who served him out of Love - it is said he showed them his innermost Heart, and they were never heard from again. Some suspect they became his Silent Circle, or his secret harem. Others say he consumed their hearts, and souls.

* The only exception was made for those who made their charges beg for more torture - they were put in charge of the breeding pens!

[X] Blow the Charges and Run!: You've destroyed the majority of the enemy force, but your forces are bloodied, exhausted and running low on ammo. And the worst of the enemy assault has yet to come. Blow the charges and have the Knights cover the retreat back to Lanner. You'll finish the enemy off when your forces are well rested and better supplied.

Also @Questor, how much of Sombra's army have we taken out so far? before with the first 2 waves you said we have taken out roughly 25 to 30%. How much of his army have we taken out after that last wave?

The army is down to the core elites of 15,000. The Full army was 100,000 in total. So we have killed 85% and now people want to face his strongest force with our own depleted assets.

Well excuse me and the other 40 of us for having some balls and wanted to use the avalanche as we should. and try to end the war now instead of letting it get to our city.
