I like Golden-Scales, because it sets up our interim ruler to be good at maintaining the economy. A regent's job is not to do grand things, but keep the country stable until the ruler proper comes of age.
Not to say anything's wrong but, well, I thought that we were basically rebuilding the entire empire from scratch, and while we have made great strides, specially if we consider that we just build schools a few years ago, I just have to ask, how are we finding all of these professional medics or learned griffons for these projects?
Have we built universities without knowing? Did we create and discover the infraestructure without researching it? I'm sorry, itt just seems as if we are going too fast.
There were still doctors before the Empire was reformed. Even during the age of Discord, physicians practiced their craft and taught apprentices. The Office of Disease control is merely a coordination of existing medical personnel, it's not equivalent to the CDC or Ministry of Health which are basically literal armies of doctors and scientists.
So for stewardship next turn I think it is time to set up the logging camps finally. With the army expanded and the militias trained and incorporated we should be able to set up a new income source fairly safely. I think we should also take the wet land draining option to make more farmland to increase food production and allow for a larger population.
ok, I guess I could put a reasonable, more logic based vote but bleep it I have my vote so.
Should we ignore the very fact we only got our first character because of blood issues, which our dear scaly female, by adoption has none? Should we keep a potentially ridiculously strong, ruler with such a broken lifespan that she could learn more about trades than our entire merch base? Should we put such a strong powerful ruler that can literally melt anything in her past (or, if she has that weird sendfire ability, be the ultimate general to send orders in rea time to any vanguard or covert ops, or BE the covert ops herself)? I say hell yeah to that!
Also... one thing to consider in a more long term point. She can get, as was pointed, REALLY old, Centuries old. Its on the level that if a calamity happens, her grandniece and all his family can die then she may become the next in line. While its a grim possibility, it is one. Making her second in line can give us a failsafe to the empire line of command if something real bad happens, like a epidemic streak, castle fire (please let it not be her fault) and so on. Also... making her regent also helps on that, and the only reason why i am voting her second in line, is, quite frankly, because I love the little one xD
[x] Board Games: He will learn patience, strategy, and how to read people by playing numerous board and card games with you and members of the Imperial court.
One thing about economics is that money doesn't do much if it is sitting in a vault somewhere. If we teach her well enough the intricacies of the markets then she shall learn the power of the Investment! Buying, selling, trading, and investing ad infinitum until everything belongs to you. Even if you do not have it in your hands, it is there in your people's talons, their homes, and their lives. I can see little else that could satiate instinctual greed than such.
[X] Gardening: He shall apply his understanding of botany and plant biology to the palace gardens, tending to the decorative flowers as well as the herbs and vegetables bound for the Imperial kitchens.
[X] Bottom Rung: The latter of the compromise options. Gwyndlyn will be in line for the throne, but she will perpetually be the last in line. The only way she will be named Empress is if every other potential heir is dead or otherwise unavailable. The nobility aren't likely to protest this, as, if every other heir is dead at the same time, they'll likely have much bigger problems to worry about.
[X] Like Mother like Daughter: She shall spend time amongst knights, soldiers, and hunters who shall mold her into the legendary warrior this realm needs. +Martial, +Intrigue, -Learning
@Void Stalker : I choose to read that bare failure as "remember the chinese curse, "May you have interesting times"? Well here it is"
@ReaperOfShadows : well, canon shows that Hoard for a Dragon is subjective, it doesn't need to be coins, its based on what SHE considers really valuable and what she actually thirsts to have. She could be greedy for a lot of things from gems, to pure gold, to pillows (she's a kid) to a sword collection or even for sword techniques or battle trophies.

[x] Designated Regent: The first of two compromise positions. Once she is of age, Gwyndlyn will be named the designated Regent. In the event that the rightful ruler cannot take up the crown or is otherwise unavailable, Gwyndlyn will assume the role of ruler until the situation can be resolved satisfactorily. While not as controversial as directly placing her in line for the throne, some may still protest this decision.

Titles: Emperor of Gryphus, King of Griffonia, Inheritor of the Imperial House of Gryphus, The Unifier, Great Winged Alpha
Description: At first glance, you seem like a pretty average example of the Griffon race. Head of an eagle, body of a winged lion, standing perhaps a hair taller than most other quadrupedal species. It's not until one looks closer that they see the things that distinguish you from a crowd. An unmistakably masculine build, a strong, prominent beak, feathers and fur that seem to be perpetually well-groomed, and a pair of piercing amber eyes hiding a fierce intelligence. But you're no peacock, only known for your good looks; your talons are razor sharp, and though you are not as strong as your wife, you are still an apex predator, and your musculature reflects that. Your wife's workout regimen has also improved your physique, cords of taut muscle now visible across your body.

Knightly Orders (Self Maintained): In the old Empire, Knightly Orders were typically made up of Griffons of noble birth who joined a fraternal militant organization dedicated to martial excellence, honor, and a number of various edicts of moral strength. These great warriors dedicated themselves to the Emperor and the protection of the common Gryph. Tragically, few of these brave souls survived the reign of Discord. But a new breed of Knights now seeks to serve as your sword and shield, and will rally to your banner whenever you may need them.

???: A friendly and strangely casual Griffon female you met at your inaugural ball. Despite having a wonderful evening chatting with her, you never got her name.
Garibaldi Talonuelli: Formerly the Duke of Wingbardy, now the Archduke of Wingbardy, Talonuelli is a beloved public figure in his home province and an experienced administrator. After saving his city and people from Brochard's attempted invasion and negotiating his province's vassalage over a few drinks, you'd like to think you can count him among your friends.
Federico Montefeathertro: Duke of the (former) City-State of Urbirdo, and your Father-in Law. He might just be the friendliest of the former Feathersians, having agreed to back you and your kingdom without question or condition during the Brochard Crisis, and hiring a mercenary outfit as a belated wedding gift. You're reasonably certain he likes you, as much as In-Laws can like each other anyway.
