That works. It will cost you another wish though which costs charisma points. You might want to use a scroll to fix that.
Jesus god again with the self pity/guilt from Visreys? Other than that it was an OK chapter, it didn't cover a lot of ground but we never really do in single updates either.
@DragonParadox
Orb of Mental Renewal:
- 3 Charges/Day: 1 Charge (Heal 4 points of Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma damage), 2 Charges (Heal 6 points of Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma damage, or 3 points of damage from all mental attributes), 3 Charges (Heal 8 points of Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma damage, or 4 points of damage from all mental attributes)
Viserys isn't sure. Robert certainly would not care, but a suspicious Lannister mage might notice if they have an eye on those skeletons.
Bottle it, as is Tradition in the Red Keep. One thing you guys should keep in mind for the vote is that you currently have a cat in tow. Vee can talk him into following along of course, but it bears keeping in mind for things like disguises.
I don't understand why people get up in arms about viserys feeling guilty. Its a representation of the discussion as a whole, and incorporates opposed viewpoints as internal struggle.Jesus god again with the self pity/guilt from Visreys? Other than that it was an OK chapter, it didn't cover a lot of ground but we never really do in single updates either.
It wasn't, it doesn't encapsulate that Viserys has been is Master Manipulator mode for months and is just now realizing that two major things in the mental basket were on a collision course, how he deals with enemies, and how he regards children, and realized that all some people have to do is meet a certain criteria of check boxes for him to unsubscribe all humanity from them in some ways. What part of the update felt like self-pity?
I tried very hard to avoid it so I am interested to know where I might have given that impression.
For the quest: Collectivist Social Market Economy1. I was mostly asking about what you're pushing for here, but I'd be interested in comparing that to your IRL economic tendencies. Out of curiosity. I don't want to pry if you don't want to say!
Firefrog isn't wrong, y'all. I understand the annoyance and frustration from back when he kept asking about transforming into a Dragon, but he hasn't done that in a long time and he's never set out to be deliberately offensive. If you want to ignore him, fine, but don't be mean about it or talk shit for no good reason. Let's all be adults here?Hey guys I get I asked some stupid questions in the past but can you guys stop calling me a shitposter that doesn't know what's going on in the quest. I regularly read this I just don't often say anything in the chat. I get it I said some stupid shit but this is the only thread that asks me to be banned for asking some questions. Most I regularly interact with and write in and I don't get this reaction ever. Again I'm sorry for stupid questions but can people stop asking me to get banned for some questions. I like reading this quest but its hard to actually like when people are calling me a troll and shitposter. Shitposters and trolls usually ask the chat to kill themselves or fuck their mothers along with generally being an ass. I may be annoying but I've never straight up insulted someone's intelligence or call them a shortlisted unless they are doing those things. So instead of calling me a shitposter can you just let me enjoy the quest? Its a great quest id like to enjoy it.
Just makes them non-rezzable. They're still plenty valuable as dragon bones.Edit: wait, if we Rez the bodies of the beast-dragons from a bit of their bones, does that make the old ones worthless for materials, or just non-rezzable? Because the first would be funny.
The idea was to meet with Baelish in the city once Maelor establishes contact.[X] Place Balerion in a Smoky Confinement bottle using Blood Wish, heal the Charisma damage with an Orb of Mental Renewal charge, then continue the original plan to seek out Baelish to determine his usefulness in our future endeavors.
Should we retreat to Chatayas and pool our intel with everyone else? The idea was to meet with Baelish in the city once Maelor establishes contact.
In the keep, we wanted to locate Varys, Pycelle and Jon Arryn, in that order, to capture and / or kill them.
What exactly did we get except the cat? We just came here and we just need to find our marks.Should we retreat to Chatayas and pool our intel with everyone else?
My god I'm reading the trophy hall stuff again my favorite is the avatar of the archdevil its just so glorious. Thank you duesal your a genius. I'm having fable flashbacks of gathering trophies.Should we retreat to Chatayas and pool our intel with everyone else?
My reasoning was that Varys trumps everything else. We have no idea where to find him, and traipsing through the Red Keep without knowing where to look could tip him off. The safe option would be to regroup, get updated on all the intel, then move out to kill him. After he's dead we can take care of the other objectives. What exactly did we get except the cat? We just came here and we just need to find our marks.
Varys takes precedence, but since Viserys personally knows both Pycelle and Jon Arryn, those two should be easy to Wayfinder. I sincerely doubt that they got their own Mindblanks, as Arryn is anti-magic and Pycelle a low-level patsy.
@DragonParadox, does Balerion know anything about Varys and the Little Birds? How much does Balerion know about the hidden passages?
That looks rather promising.*rolls for it*
He knows where at least some of Varys' little birds sleep.
Ah, thanks for the reminder. I was misremembering which group was on which task. Plan updated. The idea was to meet with Baelish in the city once Maelor establishes contact.
