Oh joy! a hidden intrigue threat which we have no leads to pursue while it grows until it suddenly becomes a problem!
Sigh... how wonderful that our next major threat is going to have to be entirely fought with what is tied for our worst stat.
It is fine like that. I would make them longer and tag the QM so they don't get lost though. I doubt we would make a Republic even down the line. After all most nations we see are still ruled by monarchs. I also doubt our son will still be dealing with the unification unless we die immediately.
Except that a thousand years later all the governments are still monarchies. Also China has Republic in it's name for the same reason the USSR, North Korea, and several nations in Africa do it makes them sound better. Also what is going that kill us we just wiped out the only local threat to us. We are also not warmongers and players tend to be able to keep their charterers alive for a long time.I was thinking like several thousand years later though, China was an empire for millennia and has republic in its name today. Also I was picturing dying young as emperors often do throughout history .

Exactly. What's unrealistic that in the future there is a republic in the name to sound better? Also he could die of sickness for all we know. Wasn't aiming to be super canon, just a maybe future far down the line.
This is just to boost certain stats and to improve the chance to get the genius trait to pass on. The stats still need to be rolled. With genius we get a +4 to martial and diplomacy. Along with a +2 to everything else how is that not the better option.

We already have Strong and Attractive, kid's gonna be a hunk for sure. If we can nab Genius too he'll be legendary and the paragon of both bloodlines, and if raised right the finest ruler these lands could ask for.
