I was about to get all annoyed that you were giving us some Viserys intrigue of your own, but then I saw that :D

I had a cold and it completely shut my creative centres down. I also got eaten by the Stellaris Megacorps expansion (I blame you!). But the required update is done, so now I can get back to laying out the 'main quest' of Arc 2. There are going to be some funny moments.

I'd like to pitch in and say that the new arc has been been great, DP. I like having a challenge that doesn't feel like it's straining the story to justify.

  • [X] Jarlar and his fellow guests appear to have become unwitting participants in a ritual of unknown purpose or power, one which we have reason to believe has been performed regularly over the past several centuries. Now we need to somehow xtricate Jarlar and the other guests from the ritual without prematurely triggering it or causing them irreparable harm.

[X] Explain the ritual situation without mentioning what happened to Lady Forlys or our crazy-sounding suspicions about how long this has been going on for.

Right, voting.

People, let's keep things simple and believable!

Of course not. The US probably beats y'all at cheese-eating now.
[Generic outrage about the quality of the cheese the Americans eat]

Nah, you can predict France to do one thing perfectly: nothing of importance :V

I hope the terrible reporting about the protests gets better <3
By the way, what do you think of the "Endless Pantheon" Dresden Files/Stargate stuff? It's a pretty cool fusion, and seeing as you seem to like Dresden Files fanfiction...
I presume that you've already read A Song of Ice and Fires That Weren't All My Fault? That's pretty a decent fic.

Haven't read either, actually. I've too much published fiction to get through, in addition to the quests I keep up with, to spare time for them right now. They're on my list, somewhere.
