Yeah, I'm fine with paying for any shinies we want over that 50% limit. Honestly I'd like to make a deal with them to find any Efreet transports in the future that might be ideal targets and scout them out for us before calling us like they did here. Would they accept a open scouting and target finding job for like 10% of the loot. Provided they didn't have to fight at all?

The 10% can be for risks taken scouting targets and a tracking charge.

And here we see what hypocrites we are, you are saying we should have demanded more than a 50% split on account of being a dragon, yet you guys were salty for ages about Relath getting a similar split, back when we invaded Torturers deep, and he was the dragon equal to our whole party.

This really show how bullshit that dragon ally cost list is, we would never accept a mission for payment equal to that list, unless we got to keep what we looted, I don't see why you guys got so salty about Relath not doing so either.

Sorry bit of a derail and dragging up old arguments, the hypocrisy just couldn't go uncommented upon.
Mmm, true I cant believe I forgot about this.

Dude, seriously? You really felt the need to bring that old argument up again?

Back to the present, we should have demanded more because that's what we're worth. In general negotiations, never take the first offer. Always try for better. If you blindly take the first offer, then you're crap at negotiating.

Guys the discussion about the negotiations six updates ago is unlikely to lead anywhere productive. Maybe it would be better to focus on the future, or the current fight.
Yeah, let me do that by bringing up something else from even earlier!:p

Seriously though DP. Would it be at all feasible to sacrifice a Steel Devil for an Amulet of that Chant ability? Provided we prepare the devil before hand, sacrifice it to the Fungus Forge to be processed into just the a little lump of metal that we could then Craft into an amulet with the ability?

I'm just asking again because there is some precedent for this with that Assassin Devil giving that amulet and the Demon Stool thing giving us those PfE gems for Amulets.

A thought: shall we be cultivating Mr Sword-Sunder as a contact for the future?
If so, the loot distribution is good. He will make us even more money in the coming days just by giving us more targets to strike.

Otherwise we can just say "slaves aren't loot of course" and go from there. We have never outright captured people and had them sold as slaves before. This is a step for us (and a moment of glee for Malarys).

Don't like the idea of mooks blocking our magic, but I like the idea of a hellfire bolt to the nuts even less.

I what to make him a local source and teleport target for general raids in the future. Should really cut down on the time. Heck this is our second major raid on day one. I want to pay the guy to find good targets and call us using sending stones for atleast the rest of our four days here. We could potentially hit atleast 6 more group targets in three days. That's a lot of ships, loot and sacrifices.

Just gotta make sure to set his share as a 10% finders fee for the rest of the time. Should still be a tidy profit for him for little risk.

[X] Destroy the Hellfire Belchers before they can fire
-[X] Cast another Quickned Searing, Agonizing Firebrand, this time targeting each Hellfire Belcher with one of the explosions, then using the remaining twelve to bombard as many groups of Steel Devils as we can manage, then sacrifice an 8th level spell slot using our Robes of Mysterious Conjuration to Summon an Elder Earth Elemental. Place it above the Hellfire Belchers if they have not yet been destroyed, which instructions to disable them, or if Firebrand dealt with them, drop it on a group of Steel Devils.

As a vote without write-in, I'm pretty sure Viserys has a good method in mind.
