Just a note about the update from @DragonParadox

I really love how Viserys basically chuckled at the preposterous policy about not taxing new visitors to the city.

I'm sure a Red Dragon counting out duties one coin at a time and then shooing off an air elemental with a grin will be a sight those merchants won't ever forget.

@everyone, the missing PC? That's the level 8 Witch with Brew Potion and Craft Wondrous Item. We don't find him and we cut a huge chunk out of our scheduled crafting.

Also, @DragonParadox, are we doing the scroll hunting later? Not to mention the Hippogriff trainers that Vee wanted to get.

I know we have Pyrotechnics At-Will now, but there are limits...

He is not escaping us. He shall face the doom of crafting day-in and day-out this month. Yes, I'm talking about the witch. I couldn't care less about the guys who kidnapped him.

That is what i was thinking too, this is a chaotic good city, he could simply had decided to use his advance to hire some perfectly legal companions to help him say goodbye to the city, and then lost track of the time.

DP told me that'll unlock a feat for Lya which encompasses First Men runes (like the runestaff), wards, etc. These are basically building blocks of reality we can use to punch gods in the face.

He said he'd allow us to take Lya's level 18 feat early at level 16 if we diligently focus on runelore, something I'm definitely going to be pushing to do.

I kind of want to see how runes could be applied to that ship you're planning on building for Moonsong.

So let's look at their charges, assuming that he was indeed kidnapped (which seems likely since others noticed that he seemed pretty keen on leaving):

1. Kidnapping
2. Stealing from a Red Dragon
3. Messing with Viserys Targaryens schedule


Well. You could almost take pity on them.

Mess with our schedule? nothing shall remain, the seas and the skies will burn as our unbound fury threatens to collapse the very fabric of existence, no god may shield you, not plane may hide you, your soul is forfeit and your only hope is to destroy yourself utterly so that we are unable to wrench your pitiful soul from the jaws of death to get our vengeance.

My exact same thoughts. The greatest worry I have right now is the stupendous amount of enchanting time it would need.

I'm fine with paying the net worth of a small kingdom for the thing, but not with having Lya kept busy for half a year.

Depending on what exactly we can do with the runes, we might even be able to make a ton of minor features work that I thought up and had to toss them again due to the price.
