I know that such a museum sounds tempting, but the only museum for "stuff we don't like to show conventionally" I know of has some really bad historial conotatios.
Entartete Kunst?
That's an ugly precedent.

But on the other hand I don't really want to hang out "Drow torturing people while Lolth watches" in the regular gallery, I think you can see why.

The proper solution is to gather more stuff in Sothoryos and having a balanced museum with this city being just one of the things covered.

And frankly, there is a wide difference between "this is deranged art!" and "this city was populated by people who gave Demons the creeps".

Quite unlike the weathered fragments that showed though on the surface the stone underneath is still stained dark violet and sooty back in places giving you some idea of of that the main hall of the temple must have looked like in its prime. The shape of it is also telling, following the line of the twisted magic perfectly in an oval some four-hundred-and-fifty feet tall. The hall must once have had at least a second floor, perhaps many more from the width and number of sight-sided pillar bases you found. The builders seem to have had a fascination with the number eight. The proportions of the structure even hinting at an eight based number system, though it might have just been sacred or magical geometry....

Looks like we could use a guild of archeology, all the Expert minions to brush off dirt. Max out knowledge (dungeoneering)?

Also, remember we can use Tor's class with volunteer outsiders to create more casters. We should actually trade the 'class feature ritual' to Yrael, and check in both PoE and PoA for volunteers eventually.

Ill be honest.

I read Ellipse, and saw Eclipse.

And I was like, yeah, cause its a conflux of supernatural power as well as being associated with astrology and the power of the stars. Something Mayans were really into.

Because it is a common form in astronomy/astrology describing the motions of many celestial bodies. Maybe I should make that clearer. What do you guys think? I was trying to replicate the feeling f having a revelation but I may have skipped too many steps.
Form me, the "Heureka" moment was recognizable. Also the leaving out of steps, because, making more associations than you have time to voice.

Well one way to display demonically inspired art would be to create different collections such as Valyrian, Westerosi, Essosi or perhaps by theme like mythology, sciences, etc. similar to something like the British Museum. or we could put it in a section that is only for those need access to suh objects for research purposes.

We could make it a restricted department called the DOD or Department of Demonology.

Finally back from visiting the dumbass in the hospital.

@Everyone Want to add one additional layer of security?

[X] Have Lya shape hinges and a lid then set a minor conjured spirit to doing it while the five of you look on from a safe distance
-[X] Place a Resilient Sphere around the Unseen Servant and the modified chest before Lya directs the servant to open it.

Could she command it with LoE blocked like that?

@Goldfish, why not have hinges cut off with adamantine dagger?
Less wasting spells that way.

Bah, there is one obvious solution.

[] Comission a large lead room with a Window of leaded glass, then summon the goat to open It while you observe.

But since that would take too long

You know, something I'd love to see is an outside perspective of Viserys while he's in his True Dragon form. The scene of him going adventure archeologist while casually dwarfing his companions was golden.
