I've already asked in this direction. I'm trying to figure out how to sacrifice the Red Comet. Part of that is figuring out quick space travel....To be fair, I don't think there is better way to draw super-precise map of the world, than to teleport on the moon and then to apply telescope in sufficient amount.

Alternatively, Dany is using the Psychic Creature template, right? She can use analyze dweomer as a spell-like ability without a focus. Have her use that on the staff, and use moment of prescience to boost her will save to see through the magic aura.

Can we at least use Legend Lore on the staff? It takes a maximum of 40 minutes to cast and should not interfere with Volantis in any way.She would need to be using the Psychometer aspect of the template. Not something we can do right now, but it would be a good idea to use it when time permits.
