This simply does not compare. We can get Prime Material rogues for pocket change compared to the lowest these rogues would accept.

Rogue is a skill monkey class, might want to talk with them and see if they have any skills that are rare or unavailable on our world so far. They also might have experiences with the type of threats that are becoming more common on our world but that most rogues here have never encountered or heard of.

@Tomcost, removed the Skald. And thinking on it, you had a very good point on the rogues being massively overpriced compared to what's available to us at home.

@Duesal followed suit in removing the Rogues, but could I convince you to switch to my plan given the more extensive information on the contracts, and what I perceive to be fairer prices - they're based off of level, primarily, where you're paying the Hunter the same amount as the Slyph when one is a level lower.

Why is everyone so much against the Skald?
As a teacher in Scholarum he'll do fine.
More classes taught = more people that are actually useful.

While it would be nice to have them working for the Inquisition, notice how level 6 Rogues are just above the threshold for normal humans. We can probably recruit level 6 rogues in Planetos for less money than what the extraplanar PCs would expect.

Burg these ones are culturally experienced in magic shit and are here now Infront of us...

Edit: read other arguments against. Am convinced.

I've also removed the Hunter. We have the means to train rangers en mass. I will shamelessly steal the contract clauses from your plan, though.

Well dam. Both proposals are going in the exact opposite direction. I don't suppose anybody is interested in writing an "all of the above" proposal?

Theon is busy a lot of time sailing with Moonsong, and that leaves only one person training Rangers, which is suboptimal.

@Duesal, please return Hunters and I'll vote for 'ya

...

They give us Druid spells and another teacher for our air force when it comes time to train them. Also why are we offering to cover the cost of their resurrections? That's insane amounts of money.

A vote for Snowfire is a vote for Rangers!

Alright, added. @Tomcost, it's not too expensive, and those druid spells are pretty nice. We even get to sidestep the unique class problem that the Old Gods seem to have.

Still firm no on the rogues, and the skald is meh since we can probably train our own.

tbh, I'm more interested in the Giant than either the rogues or the ranger. If Duesal returned him to the vote I'd have to vote for him. I think DP could write an interesting tale about that giant, and interesting stories is why I am here.

@TotallyNotEvil, did you see DP's ruling on the Knightly Order?

All we need is a month of Ser Richard's and Waymar's time, and of course the hippogriffs in bulk.

Equipping all of them will be its own problem, though.

Because apparently my previous question was invisible.

--[X] Cost to raise from the dead covered by the Imperium if necessary.

Why is this in here? I had a clause similar to it, but given that all we are hiring is crafters and trainers, offering to pay the cost is just silly. If these were combat adventurers, then I'd agree, but they're not. So why are you adding it in this way?

And whatever, can't be bothered to argue when I'm going to lose.

I'm happy to force them to work for it.

Changed to this.
