@Thread are there other mundane enhancements that can be made to ammunition?
Razor-Sharp?
Okay people, show of hands:

How many of you would like to see the Gorgon rampaging through Daemons and cultists?
I thought it was a forgone "yes"?

Warbeast Gorgon is awesome. Especially as this gorgon is PF. At least that's the link from when we fought it.

Not much differently, just more HP IIRC.

Well, we already have 4 people on the Gorgon train. @Duesal , everything is possible. Maybe if @TotallyNotEvil explains th wonders of the warbeast template and the usefulness of the beast it will also help.

EDIT: make it 5, TNE facelessed me

You don't know the true power of insistence. Baator and the fish thing might have some clout here, but they are just 2 voters.
I wouldn't have been so irritated by it if Vee's time was being used for literally anything else.

Training other magic beasts, working on rare poisons, improving the Flesh Forge, etc. But an entire two weeks studying the Petrified Weirwood which is the furthest thing from time-sensitive? Yeah, that can wait.

I will back you up on training the Gorgon, a warbeast Gorgon would have so many uses, regularly bringing it in smoky confinement, would allow us to take things such as swarms as sacrifices.
Okay, I feel a lot better about this now.

I would also gorgon time.

As far as the Khalsar...

I would not mind spending 1 or 2 days. Then going back to SD for something else.

Or squeezing a trip to the plane of earth? To get more horses?

To borrow an idea from an awesome light novel, have the city's main public fountain work as a "projector screen" as well. It already has the area to accomodate crowds.
Pretty sure figments can't project light :(

mmh, but a regular light source with illusionary "film" should work.

I am actually pleasantly surprised about that working at all, it's descriptions describe gorgons as undomesticateable.

[X] Stay with the khalasar, learn more about the Dothraki and how their ways can be softened and made more productive
-[X] Send word to Vee to set aside her upcoming study of the Petrified Weirwood and instead focus that time on training Irony the Gorgon to be used in war

@TotallyNotEvil What additional feat would you take for our legionnaries from their training? From fighter's list, I mean. I can think of a few that are suitable fluff-wise and somewhat useful, but they're mostly your and @Diomedon's creation, you probably know best.

They should get a feat at lvl2 and then every 3 lvls thereafter, which means another one at lvl5 for any practical purpose. Should probably separate melee and ranged training per their intended role.

For all I care, switch Vee to Gorgon training. I just wanted to get started on the tree, since this is probably one of those long-running things.

A vote for Goldfish is a vote for Viserys high school drama! If Lya visits as a teacher, they can even play naughty student-harsh disciplinarian!

Eh, he seems tame enough. Besides, it's Vee.

Seriously tho, when we fought, we fought the PF gorgon. So we got a PF gorgon. Which is significantly better than the 3.5 one. That's important to underline.

Three attacks, 60ft breath weapon at pretty high DC, 100 HP, Warbeast lets it use armour...

Give it a cheap +1 Reinforced Fullplate, +1 STR and CON item, pick up Ability Focus and you are looking at something like:

Irony
AC 30, touch 9, flat-footed 20 (+10 Armour, +11 natural, –1 size)
hp 125 (8d10+81)
Fort +15, Ref +6, Will +9

OFFENSE

Speed 40 ft.
Melee gore +18 (2d8+9), 2 hooves +16 (1d6+4)
Space 10 ft.; Reach 5 ft.
Special Attacks breath weapon (60-foot cone, turn to stone, Fortitude DC 25 negates), trample (2d8+13, DC 23)

STATISTICS

Str 28, Dex 10, Con 28, Int 2, Wis 18, Cha 9
BAB/Graple: +9/+22
Feats: Multiattack, Power Attack, Ability Focus (Breath Weapon), Iron Will

@TotallyNotEvil, there is no wiggle room to craft stat-boosters for it this month.

Edit: The main question is if he would obey others as well as Vee, since it would make a lot of sense to deploy him with the Daemon Task-Force Minotaurs as line breaker.

It's definitely one of the long-running things, but it's best focused on after the invasion is over. I intended to have Vee work with Soft Strider and bothering the Lotus Leshy, all while spamming Divine Insight from Lya, Dany, and Malarys. They'd make much better progress without Tyrosh looming over our heads.

Also, @everyone, just got an idea.

So Viserys can Tree-Stride to any weirwood in existence, but he has to sacrifice something to appease the angrier Old Gods to protect his mind. That's fine, sacrifices will be aplenty in Tyrosh.

My point?

We can normally only take Viserys when he goes Tree Striding, but I realized we can actually take an unlimited number of people.

Thank you, Smoky Confinement.

If we wanted to, we could take the entire party up to see Bloodraven. I'll settle for taking Lya when we're ready for her to learn spells.

It's either Vee or Viserys. Vee's the beastmaster with the absurdly high Handle Animal score. Viserys is the one who can Bloodwish Control Monster which will last 14 days.

If he doesn't get them now, it's still probably a ~CR10 creature with a stupendously useful breath weapon. +1 STR/CON is nice, but it's far from what makes him great.

How's both crafting lists (Leila and Lya) this turn?
