@DragonParadox Here's what I have for Hermetia's character sheet. It's built as if my current plan won for her. All 0, 1st, and 2nd level Beguiler spells have been added to her list of spells known.

Also, considering her wealth, it would be nice if she could come pre-equipped with some minor gear. A +1 Constitution item, +2 Charisma item, Healing Belt, and Ring of Sustenance would help her a lot.

Speaking of Hermetia's wealth, we actually took most of it. We should probably pay back whatever we still owe her on her loan to us.
 
@Goldfish Regarding Maelor, I feel that he should up his umd another point to boost the id ritual, and also, I don't think he has ever used his combat least invocation - possibly due to it's evil fluff. Maybe change it to a passive 24 hours one that he is more likely to use? There's a whole bunch that looked cool, constant see invisiblity for passive imp/quasit awareness was one, another bonus to knowledge skills (though a bit limited), they looked cool.

I feel Vee should keep knoweldge nature and heal maxed btw.

Edit: regarding the tree and the CotF, I think we should just lay out the possible solotions, and state that we are still considering the viability and morality of each option. Also mention that we came across a very very old weirwood a bit outside SD that they might be interested in, and if none of the other options are suitable, prehaps the tree might help (but mention that we had some hopes regarding wide area magic)

Added a point into UMD for Maelor, subtracting one from Concentration. Mortalbane isn't my favorite option for Maelor either, but he is a Warlock and we've already invested a feat into Maximize SLA to get the most out of his Eldritch Blasts. Mortalbane adds a decent amount of punch to those susceptible to it.

As for Vee, her Knowledge(Nature) and Heal skills are already very high, but she's falling behind in the spellcaster fundamentals. This level is letting her catch up.

She still had plenty left over, and she's been making some back every month. We actually owe her quite a lot, which will be paid back monthly automatically. If we pay it all back right now, that will be a significant hit to our liquid funds.
 
It's only 5000 IM left of repayment, but I do see your point. Probably best to wait until we see what our cashflow looks like post-Tyrosh.
 
Cast your votes, folks, preferably adding in my level up plans like Artemis did. We could still get another chapter today, or at least get some long awaited level ups taken care of.

He actually just learned Baleful Utterance one or two levels ago. It's quite good, too.

Maelor gets sent off with Glyra a lot, too, so we don't know how often be used it.

I'm so, so excited for next turn. Party members & baby adventurers will be fully equipped, and then we can start crafting the fun projects and crafting for profit. :D

Actually I agree that that's maybe not the best invocation for him. Breaking potential loot is bad!
How about See the Unseen (constant see invisibility), Otherworldly Whispers (+6 to Knowledge (arcana), Knowledge (religion) and Knowledge (the planes)), or Scalding Gust (Gust of Wind at will, which starts to get quite good at his caster level - the added unresistable 9 fire damage the invocation has is also quite good for slaughtering mooks en masse by now (60ft line), and shouldn't Maelor want his own weapon of mass destruction too? 9 damage will kill or seriously wound your average footsoldier by now, and gust of wind will stop them from closing with Maelor - so how about making Maelor into an army-blender too?)
