[X] Only the Basics: 300.000 lb of Common Iron

We can always trade for Cold Iron later, we have other pressing concerns. We want surplus, not "barely sufficient".

Silver for Monsters, Steel for Humans, Iron for Reflections, Gold for Viserys.
Obsidian for others.
"Good news witchers! i found a new material for your swords in case you even encounter this very particular kind of creature than only lives in a forest east of Yi-ti and may or may not be extinct! that makes it 27 different swords, no need to thank me, being prepared is half the fight!"

You laugh, but a Bag of Holding makes this viable.

Would having cold iron weapons in the hands of what few officer's we'd have for Tyrosh really make a difference? Most demons they would encounter would chew them up like mincemeat in personal combat. They're demons.

PCs are our response to them.

While I love my Macuihuitl I would not recommend it for a primary armament.

And die because they cant reach the right sword on time? Blasphemy, not when our flesh forges can equip them with extensible backs.
Err. . . That would hurt like a bitch. You'd need to completely redesign and create a new skeletal structure and organ placement. It would cost too much time and more importantly to Viserys. It would reduce his gold swimming pool. We'll never beat Scrooge McDuck at this rate. Remember that gold vault of his is only his pocket change.

"Blood Glass (Secrets of Xen'drik p. 147). Weapons deal +1 damage and are -10% weight, but are much more fragile: lower hardness and vulnerable to shatter."

Think this special obsidian would come in handy against the Other?
If we can even find it anywhere... perhaps Summerhall or Old Valyria. Yikes. :o

"Viserys.... Why have you turned half your army into horrific monstrosities?"

"I just wanted them to have the tools for every situation on-hand"

".... It's called a 'Handy Haverstack'. I mean... Really?"

"Damm, point. But this way they can fly in an antimagic field!"

Only 3 in 10 are supposed to survive the process of becoming a Witcher anyway, of anything we might have to add some extra step since i think Vee would have a much higher survival rate than that.
A few weeks alone in sothoryos might do the trick.

Not sure if hatred, rage or amusement is the right response here >.>

It's not all about you, you know. This is an idea that's been rolling around in my noggin for a while now. Ofcourse if Jon Snowfyre gains a title similar to Viserys 'bloodhound' that would be an added bonus. :drevil:

Edit: Maybe cast your vote people, updates!

We really can't afford to give up people who can stand in the line of succession, you know... and if anything Viserys is all about Team Targaryen.

Jon's two options are pretty much "I legitimize you as a Stark, or a Targaryen. I mean... most of your family loves you for who you are, so I guess it doesn't really matter. But there are more Starks than there are Targaryens, so why not level the playing field a little?"

Snowfyre is a very bad name. You are still calling him a bastard. Which we both know he isn't.
What are the current plans I can't find any.

Just leave him as Snow.

The Starks have their own heirs and we don't need one, he can make his own house and take his own name.

[X] Arcane Additions: 200.000 lb of Common Iron and 1000 lb. of Cold Iron.

We can get Iron from our plane anyways, cold Iron is a whole other story.

We do not have the Cold Iron to equip the entire watch. We only have enough to equip a company of our own troops around 200 to 230 if we are going to be making longswords. I would recommend a polearm such as a naginata or its western equivalents. It would allow us to stretch the amount to near 500 weapons. Since we are using magic anyway, use that magic to make the shaft immune to the Others' ice magic or if that is too much then resistant.

It would be better to give them enchanted steel weapons and gift the most important commanders Cold Iron weapons. It would be better for us to equip our own personal soldiers those Cold Iron weapons than units not under our command.

Either Halberds or Glaves
