[X] Only the Basics: 300.000 lb of Common Iron

You Europeans and your use of the decimal point where a comma should go. That's just unnatural!

In my half-awake, sleep befuddled mind, it took me way too long to realize we weren't going to trade for just 300 pounds of iron.

Our choice is between 1000 lb cold iron, or 100000 lb normal iron, we get 100 times more if we keep to normal iron.

Yes I know. While we do need the iron to steel right now, Azel made it sound like the cold iron isnt worthwhile because there is just enough to arm 250 people with it.

But a thousand mundane blades would help little for smaller groups dedicated to something else than front lines.

Which we will need if the free cities contain as much fiendcallers as I think they do.

Guys I just found a wonderful resource and I thought I'd share for any other GMs out there.:)

A site that let's you advance monsters automatically. Obviously it has a limited selection of creatures and options to advance them with hut even so the amount of grind and calculation it can spare one is amazing.

[X] Take the 300.000 lbs of iron.
-[X] Ask if they could store the cold iron until you can offer them something more for i beyond the agreed upon deal already.

@Azel, I think this is perfectly reasonable, and doesn't impact our legion equipment in any way.

It will be worthwhile at some point yes, but compared to the iron it's not worth it yet, it's not 250 blades to 1000, it's 250 blades to fully outfitting a 1000.

If we only wanted to make blades out of the iron, then we could make 25000 blades out of that 100.000 lb of iron, it's because we are also making shields and armor that we are only outfitting a 1000.

Let us not tunnelvision on the Cold Iron right now? We've got commitments and we don't even have an order of monster hunters that we could equip the Cold Iron to, and won't have them ready by the time we're assaulting Tyrosh... which we will need the regular iron for, and all the more that we can get, given that we aren't just equipping our Legion, but also the Night's Watch.

You are trying to get Cold Iron the Xorn haven't even traded for yet, nor can commit to acquiring without a guarantee that we will deliver goods in exchange, all for weapons to equip to a group of elites that... we don't have.

@Duesal, @Fehu, another thing to note. He pledged to deliver a third of the iron we need immediately. The larger proportion involved in the deal, the more we get to work with for our voracious needs.

What's with the dots to separate thousands? Dots are for decimals!

@Duesal, no interest in 3000 Gold worth of crafting materials?

I've already lost interest.

At the very least we're taking some of that bilestone so we can make Necrotic Skull Bombs out of them.

I really hope we find at least one fey we hate that much.

I think the horror: usefulness ratio is going to put me off bilestone products forever .

Horror mainly being party member cohesion and happiness.
